Chapter 22

POV: Lilly

Ciel and Sebastian returned and the manor was being cleaned up. I’m so lucky that I went to sleep with Lizzy. My room was completely destroyed. All of my clothes were destroyed, along with Ciel’s. I had to spend the whole early spring day wrapped in blankets till the seamstress got here.

She finally arrived later in the day and was a surprised. She avoided the men like they were the plague, attacked Mey-Rin, she fussed over Lizzy and Ciel, and the instant she saw me it was like she died and went to haven. The blanket I was wrapped in was quickly pulled away and I sat in my nightgown. A creepy smile spread across her face and she stood me up and pulled out a tape measurer. Not only did she measure me but she also made sure to put her hands where I didn’t want them.

“Your like a perfect doll,” she exclaimed as she looked over my measurements. I felt uncomfortable around her and when she was done I wrapped the blankets back around me and quickly left the room.

When the first set of clothes was done we went to try them on. I tried mine on first. It was a simple blue dress that brought out my eyes and was trimmed in dark red lace. I smiled and thanked her. She handed me a few other simple dresses of different colors. “I’ll make you some others and have them delivered later. These should be enough for a few days.” Her hand reached out to grab me but I maneuvered so she couldn’t and I quickly left the room.

I sighed when the door closed behind me and I was safe from her clutches. “Miss. Lilly. We have prepared a spare room for you and have gathered everything we could find from your room,” Mey-Rin said as she approached and I followed her to a room in the servants’ quarters. It wasn’t very big but it would have to do until my room was fixed.

“Thank you,” I said and she nodded and left so I could get situated. I placed my new dresses in the smaller closet.

The door opened as I was going to open it. Before me stood Sebastian. “Lilly your room has been repaired and I came come to help you move your things,” He said making my eyes widen.

“Already? I wasn’t expecting it to be done for a while.” I than shrugged and removed the dresses from the closest. I placed them on the bed next to a box that had a few of my surviving things in it. “This is all I got so I don’t really need help.” Is what I was going to say but I was prevented when Sebastian picked up all my things and proceeded to carry them to my room.

We reached my room an a few silent minuets. My eyes widened when I saw the room in perfect order and as if it had never been rubble. He placed my stuff on my bed. “Thank you,” I said before standing on my tiptoes and planting a quick kiss on his cheek. His eyes widened and something quickly gleamed in them and before I knew it I was pinned to the wall and his lips were on mine in a gentle yet forceful kiss. I kissed back and the kiss lasted for a second more before he pulled away and left the room. I ran to the bathroom to wash the blush away before going to eat.
