POV (Point of view): Sebastian
I knocked on the door of the young master's study. "Come in," his voice replied. I opened the door and pushed the teacart in. As I served the tea, he read his paper, an unhappy look upon his face.
"Is something wrong?" I asked placing a plate of fruit tarts next to his cup.
"More girls were found in the streets missing massive amounts of blood and sent to the hospital. That makes over thirty girls found in the past month." Master sighed and took a sip of his tea.
"A letter from the Queen was delivered a few minuets ago," I said taking the envelope out of my pocket. He took it from my hand and opened it with another sigh.
A knock came from the door. Tanaka, in his real form, opened the door and entered. Behind him came a frail looking girl about 18 years old, with long black hair. She wore an expensive blue dress that fit her curves nicely and blue flower in her hair. She looked around and spotted my master.
"Are you Earl Phantomhive?" She asked her voice full of authority. Her familiar but implacable, blue eyes sparkled.
"Yes. Do you have business with me?" He asked motioning for her do sit. I watched as she gracefully sat making her hair gently bounce on her shoulders.
"I need your help with something." Her voice still held authority but a slight uncertainty shown past that.
"I'm a very busy person. Find someone else to help you. I can't help you." The young master motioned to the door not looking at her.
Her fists balled up and she stood up really fast. "That's a bunch of bacon! I came a long way to get help from the person I was told was the only one that could help me! I refuse to accept that you can't help me!" she yelled, losing her aura of authority and creating one of anger. The young master almost dropped his cup; his eye was wide in sock.
He collected himself as she panted. He sighted and spoke, "I can reconsider if I find your request interesting." Her aura became calmer as she slowly sat down. "Now tell me what it is you came for."
"I think I was kidnapped." She said quietly.
"You think? That doesn't make any sense."
"I don't have memory of anything from before six months ago. The stories they told me of who I was didn't add up. A maid told me that they were lying to me and that she would help me escape and get here." The girl's tone of voice was sad and she looked down at the floor.
"May I ask who was keeping you captive?" I asked hoping that I could end this girls suffering. It was giving me an odd feeling.
"The man who clamed to be my brother is named James Miller. He owns a company that makes boats." The girl took out a piece of paper and handed it to the young Lord. I noticed a gold ring with a blood red stone on it. "This is the address of his home."
"And your name is?" The master asked.
"Lilly. The maid told me my real last name is Regis. She said she's never heard of it before." Lilly told us. I thought of her last name and how familiar it sounded.
"And that ring?" So he noticed it too.
"I don't know. The maid said I came with it. I feel like it could lead me to my real life or at least part of it. It feels important to me." She touched the ring and smiled.
"Does it have an engraving?" She nodded when I asked and handed me the ring. I looked on the inside of the band and it read:
"To my dearest Lilly."
