Chapter 38

So my internet is screwed up and im not sure when its getting fixed. I was able to post this becasue the internet was being nice to me but im not sure how long it will last and when ill post again 

I would also like to thank Hotanimeguys because they corrected several mistakes of mine like i had asked several times in earlier notes. I'm bad at grammer and spelling so its nice to get some help. I am also putting the song they suggested for this chapter. 

POV: Ciel

I sent Sebastian to find Derrick as Lilly and I stood and watched students take refuge in the garden. Lilly watched a boy franticly look around at people. Worry washed over her face as kid started to panic.

“I can’t find Hunter!” the kid said. Lilly looked at the kid then at the building where people were no longer fleeing.

She looked back at the kid before running off towards the burning building. I tried to stop her but she was a split second faster. I could only watch as she disappeared into the building.

Sebastian came back soon after she disappeared. “Where is Lilly?”

I pointed to the building. “She ran inside after hearing that some kid’s friend was still inside.”

“But everyone is accounted for.” I turned to see that the kid from before was no longer in a panic mode but talking with another boy. My eyes widened.

I didn’t need to say anything as Sebastian ran inside after Lilly.

POV: Lilly

Something took over me as that kid panicked and looked for his friend. I found myself inside the burning building running down the hall. The heat and wouldn’t affect me so I knew all I had to do was find the kid.

I quickly searched the rooms and listened for any sound that he could tell me where he was. Crying, coughing, screaming, or anything just to let me know where he was.

Suddenly the smoke began to affect me. I took a deep breath of the blackening air and began to cough. The heat of the fire began to grow as my vision blurred and the smoke invaded my lungs.

Stumbling back to avoid a falling beam I fell to the ground. Confusion filled my mind as I tried to figure out why I was being affected by the fire and smoke that should have no affect on me as a demon. I hade enough blood recently so that shouldn’t be it.

I soon remembered I was in a burning building when fire burnt my arm and pulled me out of my thoughts. Quickly, I stood and ran back in the direction of the exit. As I came upon the end of the hall and the front entrance was just at its end the ceiling caved in blocking my course. Panic filled my mind as I turned again and ran for a room so I could escape out a window.

Throwing open a door was a bad Idea as the wall came crumbling with it. I stumbled backward and held up my arms as the burning wall fell towards me.

POV: Lilly’s Dream

I looked around and I was alone, completely and utterly alone. The room was quiet and dark. Suddenly two lights appeared, one to my right and one to my left.

The one to my right was a firey red. It was almost warm and comforting. I began to walk to it not caring about the other light and as I got closer I heard the sound of laughter. The laughter sounded like it belonged to a small child.

Eventually the light changed to a room lit by a fireplace. Two figures appeared before me. One was my beloved Sebastian and the other a small girl with long black hair. She was turned away from me and playing with a small dragon toy.

I stood and watched as Sebastian would play with the girl. After a few moments the girl dropped the toy and turned to me. “Mama!” she called as she ran at me. “Papa said he was going to take us to the park later. Do you wanna go Mama?”

Sebastian came up behind her and placed his hand on her head with a smile. I couldn’t help but smile back and nod my head to the child. Her red eyes lit up with joy as her lips curled into a big smile.
