POV: Lilly
“Lilly dear you need to wake up,” the soft voice of Sebastian whispered as she shook me awake. I rubbed my eyes and sat up so I could drink the sweet tea he had brought me.
Suddenly I felt extremely nauseas. I quickly handed the cup to Sebastian and ran to the bathroom. The contents of my stomach was emptied into the toilet. The sound of running water behind me started after a monument of silence. I turned to see Sebastian running me a bath.
When the tub was full I slowly took off my nightgown and climbed in. The water was warm and filled with lavender scented soaps. Sebastian helped me wash my back and hair. He even rubbed my feet.
“What are today’s plans?” I asked him as the water got cold and I got out.
“We are going into town to do some shopping. Mey-Rin requires new glasses and Finny a new hat,” he explained as he helped me lace up the back of my light blue dress.
“Its strange not to be wearing a corset. I feel like I’m not full dressed,” I said as I rested my hand on my growing tummy. It had only been a few weeks since I was told the good news yet my tummy was starting to be noticeable.
Sebastian smiled and placed his hand over mine. “Are you ready to go?” He asked after a few moments and I nodded. We left the room and headed to the carriage. When I climbed inside I found Finny and Bard seated next to Ciel and Mey-Rin sitting alone across from them. I smiled and took a seat next to the maid.
After every one was situated the carriage started to move. It was quiet until we arrived in the city. The servants looked out the window with wide eyes.
Our first stop was a shop that sold glasses. I climbed out and followed the group in. Snake walked quietly next to me as the others walked ahead. “Good morning Snake,” I said causing him to look over at me.
“Good morning, says Emily,” he said as a small snake appeared from under his coat. I giggled and patted the snake on the head before it went back into his coat.
It wasn’t long before Mey-Rin had a new pair of glasses so we headed to a hat shop. Finny wanted an extravagant hat but had to settle for a simple one. When that was done we went to another store where Snake got a bag.
“Young Master, can I take this?” Bard asked as he held out a magazine with an almost bare lady on the front. Sebastian held his hand over Ciel’s eye as he told bard no. I had to try my hardest to contain the laughter that was about to erupt.
Later Ciel was looking through candy. He pulled out a lollypop and a box of fake cigarettes. The candy cigarettes where thrown at Bard who took them happily. “Here,” Ciel said as he handed me a strawberry flavored candy. I smiled and took off the wrapper so I could eat it.
“You’ll spoil your dinner,” Sebastian said.
I smiled and handed him my wrapper. “One candy wont hurt,” I said with a slight giggle.
He smiled back quickly before his face returned to its normal serious expression. “We have one more stop,” He said as we all returned to the carriage. The servants sat I the front as Ciel, Sebastian, and I sat on the inside. When we arrived at our destination only Sebastian got out.
When he returned he was carrying several papers and morning hair chain. My eyes widened when I saw the chain and anger began to course through my veins. I listened with narrowed eyes as the two spoke about the chain. One of the names on the chain was Claudia Phantomhive, Ciel’s grandmother.
I began to feel tired and was taken home. The others went back into town to do some more business or something.
“Would you like something to eat, Miss. Regis?” my nurse, Hanna, asked as I entered the building. I smiled and told her that I wanted something sweet. She bowed her head before heading off to the kitchen.
I went to my room to wait for my food. When it arrived I ate it and climbed under the covers. My feet were soar and I was struggling to keep my eyes open so allowed sleep to over take me.
I awoke as Sebastian came into the dark room. He changed and climbed into the bed next to me. The smell of perfume hit my nose making my eyes narrow. “What’s that smell?” I asked.
“I helped advertise for the Phantomhive’s new product. You missed it but I had to wear a unicorn costume. I was told it was quite amusing,” He explained putting a funny image in my mind. A laugh erupted from my thought as I tried to get the image out of my head.
After a few moments of laughing, I calmed down. Sebastian laid down under the covers allowing me to snuggle closer to him. His normal sent started to emerge from the perfume helping me fall into a peaceful dream.
