Chapter 50

POV: Lilly

I descended the stairs and into the front hall. My back was killing me and because Sebastian was doing work I found it hard to sleep. Strolling around in the dark seemed to ease the pressure on my back.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs someone knocked on the door causing me to jump. Curious as to who could be visiting this late at night I went to answer it. Blond hair greeted me as I opened the door. Lizzy smiled up at me.

I smiled at the girl. "What brings you here so late at night?" I asked her as I invited her inside by opening the door all the way.

She did not moved only smiled and spoke. "Come to a party with me Lilly. It'll be fun." I studied her and looked behind her to find her alone. I frowned as it accured to me something was wrong.

"I'll go to the party with you if you'd like. Would you come help me change from my nightgown?" Lizzy nodded before following to my room and helping me change into a dress.

Once changed she took my hand and directed me out of the house. We climbed into a carriage. Soon we arrived at a building that was brightly light. Laughter came from the building as Lizzy lead me inside.

Inside I was greeted my many smiling faces. They greeted Lizzy who introduced me to them all. Soon after saying my name she dragged me to where a man was sitting with a cup. Infront of him was a girl and he told her the guardian star she had and her fortune.

When the girl was done, Lizzy sat me down in the chair and I was greeted by the man's smiled. "Would you like your fortune told?" I simply nodded as a reply and he held out a needle. "Can I prick your finger Miss?" I replied again by handing him my hand and nodding.

The needle pricked my finger and a few drops of my blood fell into a cup of water. The color changed and the man's face showed the expression of awe. "Your guardian star is not one that I have ever seen. What is really strange is that it is circling a black hole but not being sucked in. You are at peace with something dark."

I stared at him unsure of what that meant. Confusion probably showed on my face as I looked at the cup. "What does that mean?"

Quickly, in response to my question, the man smiled. "Something bad has happened to you but you are not letting it bring you down. You must be very brave." With his words the people who had gathered around got excited. They said things about how wonderful I must be. I couldn't help but blush.

After a moment I joined in with the party. I mosty listened to the people tell stories and interact with each other. As the night came to a close I was exhausted and went to find Lizzy.

"Lizzy, don't you think it's time to be heading back?" I asked as I stood next to her by the snack table.

She smiled and looked up at me. "Were going to stay at my friends house tonight." She looked over in the direction of a bunch of girls who were chatting. "But first we have to sing carols."

As she spoke the clock struck eleven. Everyone stopped what they were doing and soon everyone was singing. Lizzy joined in and I watched. My eyes narrowed as I placed a hand on my stomach. Something was defiantly up.

POV: Sebastian

I brought a letter from the Queen to the Young Master. As he opened the letter Lizzy's brother, Edward, burst into the room. "Lizzy ran away from home!"

After caliming him down we made our way to the parlor to talk about what happened. Edward explained about a party and how Lizzy stopped coming home. He was very worried.

When Edward said the name of the party, Ciel said the same name. At that time the door opened and Lilly's nurse came into the room. She had a paniced look on her face. "I have been looking everywhere and I can't find Miss. Lilly. I didn't wake her this morning because her back was in pain yesterday and I figured she needed the rest. When I went into her room she was gone. There was a note on her desk."

She handed me the letter. I unfolded the paper and frowned. On the paper in Lilly's handwriting was the words, "I'm with Lizzy."
