POV: Sebastian
“What!” The young master yelled when I told him about what happened earlier with Lilly.
“I didn’t notice her when I went into the kitchen and took off my glove. She saw the mark on my hand and passed out,” I told him and he looked at me angry.
“Did she say anything?” He asked the anger growing in his voice.
“She only said a name. Sam,” I replied and his face of anger became a thinking face.
“Keep Investigate this,” he told me.
“Yes Milord.” I replied and went to work.
I investigated and still had found nothing when the sun rose. I walked down to her room and opened the door. She was sound asleep and only stirred when I opened the curtain and let in the bright morning light.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes. “Good morning Sebastian,” she said sleepily. She showed no sign of remembering what happened last night.
“Good morning Lilly. How are you feeling?” I asked her.
She looked at me questionably. “Fine, why?”
I sat on the bed next to her and spoke, “You passed out last night in the kitchen.”
“I did? I must have over done it yesterday,” she said giving me confirmation that she didn’t remember.
“If you are feeling well than the young master wishes to eat breakfast with you.” I said and poured her a cup of tea.
“That smells lovely.” She took in a deep breath of air with closed eyes. I handed her the cup and she sipped it. “It tastes amazing as well,” her lips curled into a smile as she spoke and I found myself staring. I was only pulled out of my trance when she stood and almost fell over I caught her and let the cup fall onto the ground with a small crash.
“Are you alright?” I asked as I placed her back on the bed. Her hand was on her head and her face filled with pain. A tear fell from her blue eye and she wiped it away.
“My head really hurts. Did I hit it when I fell yesterday?” she asked after she found the strength to speak. When it appeared that the pain had passed she looked up at me and I shook my head as a response to her question. “I think it’s gone now. Maybe it was just what I get for missing breakfast yesterday.” She stood up and walked to her closet with no problems. She came back out in a navy dress with white lace and made her way to the door. I walked her to the dinning room to make sure she wouldn’t fall again.
POV: Lilly
“Good morning, Ciel,” I chimed as I took a seat next to the boy as he read his paper. He looked up slightly to glance me before returning to his paper. Sebastian whispered something into Ciel’s ear and got a nod in response.
I sat there in silence for a while before I broke it, “What are we doing today?”
He put his paper down and looked up at me. “We are going into town. It snowed so the servants are out playing. Why don’t you join them and I will call for you when its time to leave,” He said as trays were placed in front of us. I ate my breakfast quickly so that I would have more time to play in the snow. I wasn’t allowed to play in it when I was at the Miller Manor and I have faint memories of playing in the snow.
I put on a warm dress and a coat before I ran outside and into the deep snow. Mey-Rin helped me make a snowman family, Tanaka drank tea in a little snow hut, Bard made snowballs, and Finny ran around. I smiled at how happy I felt.
