Chapter 4

POV: Lilly

It’s been a few days since I baked that cake. It’s a good thing that I made it then and not now because rats are running around the manor and causing havoc. I found one in the pantry yesterday; it gave me a heart attack. Today they ate through the wires.

“Miss. Lilly.” The voice of Finny said from behind me.

“What is it?” I turned around and saw him fiddling with his hands and looking down.

“I’m sorry for almost hitting you with that statue this morning. I was aiming for the little mouse at your feet.” He continued to look down at the ground.

“That’s alright you where just doing your job.” I smiled at him when he looked up. “Do you need help catching any of the mice?” I asked needing something to do.

“No Sebastian caught them all. I think the young master could use some company. He’s in his study.” Finny told me as he cheered up.

“Ok I will do that. Thank you for apologizing even though you didn’t need to.” I patted his shoulder and walked down to Ciel’s study. “I’m coming in,” I said as I opened the door. I was meet by a group of men and an unconscious Ciel. One of the men came over to me and covered my mouth before I could scream. He pulled out a cloth and put it over my nose. I breathed in and meet darkness.

POV: Sebastian

I opened the door to the young masters office and found it cluttered. The window was open and it was empty of people. I sighed and looked down at the cart. Who would eat this pie now?

I walked down the hall, pie in hand and saw Mey-Rin run toward me. “Sebastian. I just found a letter, yes I did. “ She raised her hand showing a pice of paper.

“Addressed to whom?” I asked her.

“The servant of the earl of Phantomhive.” She said as she continued to run. I noticed movement out the window and saw a sniper as she tripped over her laces and fell over on me. I caught the cake as it fell and a pot shattered from the bullet that was shot.

“Mey-Rin, the letter please?” I asked as I lay there.

“Letter? Oh yes the letter,” She yelled as she looked down at the piece of paper. She got off me and handed me the letter.

“If you want to return you master and the girl safely, come to Nova Garden Bethel Green as soon a possible.” I read aloud. “Goodness what a dreadfully written letter.” I said as the other two servants and our guests walked up.

“Sebastian,” Finny said in a questioning tone.

“What I going on here?” Madam Red asked as she looked around.

“Sorry for the noise Milady. I assure you nothings wrong please don’t concern yourself.” I told her with a smile.

“Nothing? Are you sure?” She asked as she looked around again.

“Will you excuse me, I have business to attend to.” I handed Bard the pie and went to take care of the attackers. I learned the location of where they were keeping the young master and Miss. Lilly. The fact that they had her made me angrier than I would be. I took the forks and knives from the kitchen and made my way to the east end.

POV: Lilly

When I woke up my hands were tied behind my back and I couldn’t move. I looked around and saw Ciel lying on the floor. He looked beaten and bruised. I looked around again and saw a blond man holding a phone. His hand seemed to be shaking.
