Behind a mahogany desk sat a man in his early twenties. His hair was jet black and his eyes a bright Persian blue. His face showed worry and frustration. A knock came from the maple door across the room.
“Enter,” The man behind the desk, replied, his voice full of authority. The door opened and an older looking gentleman dressed in a general’s uniform entered the room. The younger man looked up from the map of his land that sat on the desk. “Any news?”
“Yes your Majesty. A report came from one of the Earth squads. They have sited her in London.” The general handed an envelope to the King.
“Send a search and rescue team to England. I will join them as soon as I can,” He finally said after a few monuments of silence. His voice held hope.
“But, Sir, you can’t leave the country unprotected. What happens…”
“That is an order!” The King stood cutting the general off midsentence.
“Yes, Your Majesty.” With that the general left the room to carry out his orders.
