Chapter 21

POV: Lilly

It’s has been two days since I left the circus. Lizzy had shown up the day after I came back and she was very disappointed that Ciel wasn’t home. She refused to leave until Ciel came home so she’s still here.

“What do you think Ciel is doing right now?” She asked me as she starred out the window of Ciel’s study.

I looked over at her and her bored expression. “I’m not sure but I bet he’s eating cake and drinking tea,” I said with a smile and looked out at the sunset.

She smiled at me. “He really does like sweets. What do you think is his favorite?”

“It could be anything. Cake, cookies, tarts, pie, chocolate, anything.” I replied with a bored tone.

“I like anything that Ciel likes. What about you?”

I put my finger to my temple as I thought about it. After a second or to I answered. “I like a lot of things but I would have to say my favorite is vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and slices of strawberries and rainbow sprinkles.”

“That’s a lot of detail,” She said before there was silence. “Say do you know how to use a sword?” She asked breaking the silence.

“Not sure,” I replied simply.

“Well I can. My dad says I’m pretty good at it too. But I can’t tell Ciel that.” She sighed and continued to look out the window.

“Why’s that?”

“I need to keep a cute look for him.”

“Oh.” The conversation stopped there and it was quiet again. Soon we started asking each other random questions until dinner. I learned that her favorite color is pink, she likes dogs, and she has a brother. She spoke a lot about her family too. It made me a little sad but not too much. We continued talking after dinner.

When her bedtime came around we both went to our rooms. I sighed and fell onto the bed. I starred at the ceiling until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore and I drifted to sleep.

I was awoken by a gunshot that came from outside. I slipped on my slippers and put on a robe before walking to the window. The cold fogged up the glass so I couldn’t see so I opened the window. The cold air wafted in along with the faint sent of blood. I ran to the door and down to Lizzy’s room.

As I ran down the hall another faint gunshot was heard. As I turned the corner crash came from the window and a small form fell to the ground. My eyes widened as I recognized the bloody form as Peter form the circus.

I looked at Lizzy’s door and found it open. I was about to run inside and try to protect her when Tanaka came out and closed the door. I turned and headed to the main entrance only to stop at the top of the stairs when the door opened to reveal Dagger and Beast. Bard stood at the top of the first set of stairs.

I watched as they fought and finny threw a statue. I smiled and made my way to Lizzy’s room just to make sure she stayed safe.

When I opened the door and sat up in her bed. “What is it Lilly?” She asked as I walked to her bed.

“I can’t sleep and I thought you might be able to help me.” I said and here face lit up. She scooted over and patted on the bed.

“You can sleep with me if you want.” She smiled as I removed my slippers and got into the bed. We laid down and I soon herd her soft snores. I took that as my cue to get some sleep too.

Omg im so happy! My reads are multiplying really fast :D. I cant belive that i got over 100 reads in two days!
