POV: Sebastian

I called for Madam Red to check on Lilly. She arrived around lunchtime and Lilly was still asleep. I left her alone so that she could remove Lilly’s clothing to get a closer look.

“I couldn’t find anything wrong with her. She only seems tired and needs some rest.” Madam Red told Ciel before she left. She also left he butler Grell to be trained to be better. He attempted to kill himself and I told him to do it outside. He smiled and went outside with Finny to garden.

“I guess that she is fine. Let her rest and have Mey-Rin keep an eye on her. It may keep that clumsy girl out of trouble.” The young master said after his aunt left. I told Mey-Rin to watch her and she nodded and ran to Lilly’s room. I sighed when she tripped on a rug down the hallway.

“Hey Sebastian. I was wondering if you had seen my flamethrower.” Bard asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

“I threw it away. I don’t need you destroying things.” I told him and walked away so I could prepare the masters tea. That’s when I noticed the strong presence of another demon. They didn’t seem close but they had a strong aura to them and were hard to miss.

I finished with the master’s tea and brought it to him. He told me that we would be going into town to retrieve his new cane. I prepared the carriage and we went into town. I saw a few demons dressed in similar uniforms and looked like they were looking for something or one.

POV: Lilly

The sound of Mey-Rin’s scream woke me up. I got up and looked out the window. Someone had carved all the trees and bushes into skulls. I looked around and found the three servants, Madam Red’s butler, and a girl in a pink dress. I smiled and climbed back into bed, still tiered.

I woke up later and the sun was still up. I looked over at the clock and there was still time before dinner so I got up and changed into a sky blue dress with pink lace. I put a pink rose into my hair and went down the hall. When I got to the entrance, I saw all the pink and frilly things it was covered in. I saw the parlor door open and went inside where I found everyone.

Sebastian was talking to Grell, the servants were dressed in weird outfits, and the girl in the pink dress who was in the garden earlier had Ciel’s hands in hers. Ciel sighed and the girl seemed really happy. She jumped around but stopped when she noticed me.

“Who are you?” She asked causing everyone to look in my direction.

“That is Miss. Lilly. She is staying at the manor so that the young master can find her family.” Sebastian told the girl and her happy expression changed into a sad one.

“You don’t know where your family is?” She asked me.

“That’s right. I don’t really know who I am so Ciel is helping me.” I told her with a sad smile. Her eyes began to water as she ran over to me and hugged me. She was only a little taller than Ciel and she stood up to my shoulders.

“That’s so sad.” She sobbed into my chest.

“Why don’t you help Lilly get ready for the ball,” Ciel said causing her to stop crying. She pulled her face from my chest and looked up at me.

“Will you go to the ball with me?” She asked with a pleading look.

“I would love to,” I replied with a smile. Her face lit up as she dragged me to her room. “I would like to properly introduce myself. My name is Lilly Regis.”
