It's crazy how time flies, one minute Gotham finds out about witches. The next Josette was getting about 2 girls a week claiming to be like her all in a span of four months. Death threats have been made towards her, the mayor has spoken out about it as well.
It's not like all of Gotham saw her as evil, most were just curious. People stopped her in public to asked her questions, Josette being the sweet person that she is would have small conversations with them.
Now the media and the press were in on this as well, taking pictures whenever she went out. Not as if she were a celebrity, but as if she was a freak.
Josette was scared for the well being of her siblings so today was a very important day. They had all decided that it would be safer if her brothers and sisters stayed out of Gotham for a couple months till everything calms down. Josette was sad about it but new it needed to be done for their protection if the worst comes out of the situation.
The kids would stay with their fathers sister. Aunt Violet was very trust worthy and loving with her nieces and nephews so the oldest sibling didn't need to worry.
Her aunt would be picking them up tonight to drive them out. Hopefully it would make Josette feel better now that they are escaping to safety.
These four months were hard, with the news being out about her powers, random girls showing up at her door step, her family planning to leave and Jerome wasn't in Gotham. He was out on one of his little trips again, her boyfriend had been absent for a month.
In good news Jerome had finally found the perfect doctor for Josette. She had been treating her since late December right after Christmas. She was kinda old but no doubt very wise and smart. That's who Josette was about visit right now. Since her doctor, Sylvia had been taking care of Josette and the baby Jerome decided it was best to give her a room in his mansion.
Derek opened the door to his bosses girlfriend. She looked up at him and smiled. "Hi Derek." She greeted, the two shared a short hug. "Here for the doctor?" He asked "Yup." She said with a hand over her stomach. When Jerome had left her belly was almost the same as it was before she had gotten pregnant. Sylvia has told her she wouldn't show quickly, but all that was there was a small bump.
"You can go wait in the basement, and I'll get her for you." Josette nodded her head. "Okay thanks." She mumbled making her way down walking into a room with Sylvias medical equipment. The girl sat down on the medical bed making herself as comfortable as possible.
"Well I see your still a twig." The old woman said walking in making Josette laugh. "Yeah I guess so."
"Lift up your shirt." Sylvia ordered. Josette followed the instructions. "Oh wow. Something is actually there." She admitted looking at the small bump that was forming. "Okay. You know the drill." The doctor said taking out the gel. Josette prepared herself for the instant chill that would take place.
