Too Much Death
"Jesus Jerome why do all your houses need to be so huge?" Cordelia asked as she walked into their new place for the first time."Because it has to be fit for a king Cordelia, and of course the queen." Jerome responded in a cocky attitude.
It's been about a week since they got Josettes body from the GCPD, they all still had hope that she would come back to them.
Everything had been moved into the new house already. It was rather large and luxurious, very modern.
"Cocky much?" Philip asked walking passed them. "Very." Jerome replied with a sly smirk.
The family wanted to be there when Josette woke up. They didn't care how long it took, anything for their oldest sibling.
"You were better when you were locked up in your room." Philip mumble making sure Jerome heard. The ginger chuckled in response.
In all honesty, he liked having her family over. They reminded him of her in some ways. Very smart mouthed.
Jerome set down Rosalies car seat on the couch. She had been crying the whole way, he learned that she hated being in the car.
Her small button nose was slightly red, her cheeks were puffy from crying. Thankfully she stopped when she saw her father. Jerome smiled unbuckling all of the straps.
Once he learned that there was a chance his girlfriend would come back he was overwhelmed with happiness. Then guilt, he drowned himself in sorrow instead of being there for his daughter, it broke his heart.
He apologized to Cordelia and his daughter promising to never do such a thing again. He wouldn't allow himself. She was the most important thing to him. There was no doubt that Rosalie completely owned his heart and his world.
"Hello my flower." He whispered happily to her lifting the baby out of the car seat she was trapped in.
Katie ran in instantly tripping on the door step slamming to the ground. Jerome heard the thud and quickly turned his head.
Though she was unbothered and got right back up making Jerome chuckle. One thing he loved about the now nine year old was that she wasn't a crybaby like most girls her age. She was always on her feet letting nothing bother her.
"You okay kid?" Jerome asked. She gave a nod wiping her blonde hair out of her face. "How long are we staying?" She asked him tilting her head. "As long as you want." A smile appeared on his face as he spoke.
"Okayyy but you have to make pancakes everyday." The nine year old crossed her arms looking up at him. He placed a hand on his chin holding Rosalie with his other arm. "Hmmm...how about every other day?"
"How about two times a day?" Her face scrunched up giving him a mean look. "You drive a hard bargain kid..."
"Wanna make it three times a day?"
