"I know what you are." The man spoke. "You don't know shit." Venom seeping out of the other persons voice. "Oh but I do, I know exactly who you are. I know exactly what you want." The room filled with silence

"I've been watching you Jeremiah."

"Why?" He asked shaking his head.

"Because it was part of my job. To watch everyone who is close to her. I had to keep a close eye on the people she loves most."

Jeremiah tilted his head "for what Michael?"

"Well I can't tell you that silly." Michael said with a chuckle. "But I can help you, I know exactly how I can help you."

Jeremiah's interest peaked, desperately wanting to get rid of whatever darkness was inside of him. "How?"

Michael looked up at him instantly with a evil smirk plastered on his face. "Feel like making a deal with the devil?"

Jeremiah swallowed a lump in his throat as he fixed his glasses. The ginger gave a nod.

Michael had him right where he wanted him. He had the demons in Jeremiah under his control now.

"Tell me Jeremiah. What angers you the most?" Michael asked, already knowing the answer. His jaw clenched as he gave Michael the answer "Jerome. Him having Josette under his thumb. When she should be with me, and Beatrix. Oh gosh that girl just won't take no for an answer. I'm stuck with her."

Michael shook his head "no your not. Your not stuck with her. What if I told you there was a way you could have everything. Just for a small price."

"What is it?" Jeremiah questioned. "I need some information on Josette, and the witches. Anything you can get your hands on."

"How would you help me?" Jeremiah asked. "You and Josette right? Well I want her too, and her witch friends. But we both can't do that without getting a little blood on our hands. And considering your battling....Um demons....that's exactly what you need.
Blood."

Jeremiah shook his head "I don't." He denied again. "Yes you do. I know you want nothing more than that. To be in control. It's okay. You were born like this. Don't be ashamed, I'm here to help you."

"You can't help me. How can you help me?"

"I help you accept it. You need to eliminate people to get to Josette. Great! I need that too. So why don't you do that for me? You help me get to Jo Jo while you also feed this urge, like killing two birds with one stone. Plus you'll be getting Jo in the end as well. Of course we'll be using her for different reasons." Michael explained.

The fire crackling was heard for afar. "First her best, your girlfriend."

Jeremiah agreed "Beas holding me back. I can't just break up with her, I tried so many times she just never listens." He mumbled with anger.

Michael looked across the table at the ginger who's eyes were darker then usual. "Then....Derek. The friendly giant who seemingly will do anything Jerome says just to protect Josette."

Jeremiah nodded in understanding.

"Family, her siblings, mother and father."

Jeremiah shook his head "not the little ones. Not Kol or Katie."

Michael shook his head "Of course, we already have a spot for them." Jeremiah brushed the last part off.

"Cordelia... we can't have her snooping around our...plan. She's too much of a risk. Some of the witches...not all, just the much older ones."

The ginger clenched his fist "then finally...Jerome." He said through his teeth. Nothing would make him happier than to see the life drain out of her eyes.
After all he was the one who took Josette away from him.

Jeremiah stoped for a second "wait...why do you need Josette and the witches so much?"

Michael let out chuckle. "Let's just I was chosen by a certain someone. All in due time Jeremiah. You'll meet them soon I promise you that. It won't be long until all of Gotham meets them."

"What about her daughter?" Jeremiah asked concerned. "Ah yes well we definitely want her alive for...future reasons. Why?"

"Just asking. I don't want anything happening to Josette for the baby." The ginger warned.

"Hmm...I thought you would've despised the child since it's your brothers." Jeremiah shook his head at the comment.

"Jerome and I were once one zygote, once the same person then split into two. What's his is mine. Including his daughter and his fiancé. She is my daughter." Jeremiah said looking Michael straight in the eye.

'Holy hell he is psychotic.' Michelle thought, 'just the type of person to get the job done!' A smile appeared on his face. "Of course she is."

"I'll get you all the information you need." Jeremiah reassured him.

Michael gave a nod "And in return I will help you with your demons, and help you clear the path to what you want."

After a chuckle Jeremiah spoke. "Yeah everything's fine and just want to talk about you and Jer-." Josette cut him off, her excitement taking the best of her. "We can all have diner tonight! If you and Bea are free."

Then something triggered in Jeremiah it was the demons, calling him. They were telling him to do it. Michael said a breaking point was soon to come. The thought of Josette marring his brother angered him beyond belief.

"Actually we are very busy tonight, but I just wanted to say congrats." With that he hung up the phone. Walking back into the apartment. Nothing but rage flooded in him but he hid it perfectly.

Looking at Bea he smiled. "We should go out tonight. It's a lovely day Bea."

A pout formed on her lips "aww Jere that sweet. Of course. What do you want to do?"

Jeremiah smiled "it's a surprise."

Beatrix smiled brightly "I love surprises. Can't wait! Im gonna go get ready." She told him running up stairs.

Jeremiah looked down at his phone seeing a text message saying 'everything's ready.'

Beatrix came down the stairs ready to go until something stopped her. She looked down at her puppy's food bowl and noticed he had no more food.

"Jere I'm gonna run across the street to buy him more good. He must be starving." She told him.

"Yeah okay." Was all Jeremiah said. Perfect timing.

Once she left he followed shortly after in his car. It didn't take long at all for her to walk out with a bag of dog food.

Her shoes clicking on the empty side walk. Jeremiah had his car parked in the alley, lurking around the corner, he waited patiently with his mask on.

Then the attack, he grabbed her from behind covering her mouth. In a smooth motion the needle entered her neck. Almost immediately she fell limb into his arms.
