024: Brave New World

Blake drains a bloodbag before going upstairs. She spots Aiden. He attempts to apologize but Blake easily ignores him and she pushes past him, goes to her car in front of the boarding house, and she drives to the Grill. She's manager and she hasn't been there in a couple says because of founding family duties and William's death.

Blake enters the Grill and she spots Tanya behind the bar. She's started bartending in William's place when she learned he died, even though she thinks it was because of a very bad car crash, like Liz Forbes does. And anyone else who didn't know William was a vampire like Blake. 

"Hey, boss," Tanya greets. "Nice to see you back."

"Good to be back," Blake admits. "I am going to catch up on paper work amd check emails, then I'll return to the population. Okay?"

" 'Kay," Tanya replies.

Blake waves at the patrons that are already there and she heads into her office to catch up on the manager work in here.

Mason and Tyler Stop by the Grill on their run right as Blake steps her office.  Mason was going on and on about wanting to see Blake again, so Tyler said they could run here.

"Blake," mason greets.

"Hey, you," Blake greets. "Tanya, get these guys some water, please. And Mason, Tyler, don't forget to pay."

"I was wanting to know if I can take you out tonight," Mason claims. "There's a carnival at the high school. Want to be my date?"

Blake looks at Tanya, who is handing the Lockwood guys their water, she is nodding in approval and mouthing that Mason is hot. Blake smiles before she turns to Mason and Tyler.

"I would love to be your date, Mason Lockwood," Blake replies. "Pick me up here. I need to catch up on some things."

Mason kisses Blake on the cheek. "Maybe we can repeat what we did on the day of my brother's wake."

Blake smirks. "We'll see."

"Indeed we will," Mason replies and he downs the glass of water and pays for his and Tyler's. "Ty, let's go before your mom worries."

"Tell Carol I said hello, Tyler," Blake says.

"Will do," Tyler replies and he leaves with his uncle Mason.

"He is hot," Tanya comments as soon as Mason and Tyler leave.

"I've seen it all," Blake confesses. "He is hot."

Tanya smirks before she heads to a patron. Blake grabs an apron and she waits some tables before she should go back to her office.

Aiden is pouring himself a glass of blood as Stefan walks in. Damon is relaxing on the couch, drinking some bourbon, he went and got some more blood bags and had one once he had returned.

"Care for one?" Aiden offers.

"No, thank you," Stefan declines kind of nicely. "I'm not hungry. Just ate."

"Are you worried that one day, all the forest animals are gonna band together and fight back?" Aiden asks, amused. "I mean, surely they talk."
