Zoe's POV
I woke up with tear on my eyes, I had a bad dream again. I usually have those dreams people hurting me and its really hard to start your day good if you woke up crying and feel sad.
I looked at the clock and it's almost 8 am and have to get ready for work. I don't have a lot of energy to put effort on what will I look like so I put on a hoodie and skinny jeans along with my black boots.
I wash my face and put on some mascara and lip balm. I get my phone and earphones then put them on my back pocket. I've decided to not eat breakfast today cause I don't feel like eating so I just told them I'll get coffee along the way and they bought my lies.
I get out of the house and start to walk. I put my earphones on and play some music. I feel awful today, and I'm scared that I'll ruin this day for everyone that I'll be with.
I sighed and just listen to the song playing. I'm almost in the store but still have an hour to spend. So I go to a store and buy some cigarettes. I don't usually smoke that much but it feels like I need it.
I get out of the store and take one stick from the box then put it between my lips and get my lighter in my bag.
I lit it and took a long hit from it then blow the smoke out. I'm standing out side the music store waiting for Bea to come. I smoked 3 sticks while waiting and I was surprised that I smoke a lot more than I used to. Am I that stressed right now? I asked myself and got distracted when Bea approached me.
"hey, you're early today" she stated. I just nodded at her not in the mood speaking up for an answer.
"someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Is everything okay? " she asked while opening the door.
"yea I'm fine still a little sleepy and tired but I'm fine" I said and gave her a small smile so she can stop asking me cause I don't wanna talk that much.
We walked in together and I flipped the sign that we're open. I walk towards the front desk and just sighed. I can feel that she's looking at me cause I sighed too loud than I expected.
"okay there's no way that you're okay. Tell me whats wrong" she looked at me seriously and waiting for what I'll say. I have to make some lie to her cause I have no plan to tell her how insane I am feeling like this all of a sudden. She'll see me as a crazy person.
"nothing, didn't get my daily dose of caffeine that's all." I said hoping she would buy it. And make it more believable as I can so she won't ask me anymore.
"you want me to buy some coffee? I was planning to buy one for myself I can get you some if you want" she offered. I just nod and thank her. She left the store to buy some coffee for us when some group of people came in the store.
Really? Right now? It's like 10 in the morning and someone's here already. I sighed internally and greeted them.
I saw a familiar face and thats when I realized that it's Michael with some of his friends I guess.
He approached me and ask him what he wants but didn't realized that I sound rude. I say sorry immediately and he just smiled.
"it's fine we have our bad days" he said and tap on the wooden table.
"so what can I help you guys? " I asked while his friends are looking at me like I'm some alien.
"we're here to invite you to a party later. Well it'll be awesome if you come but it's fine if you don't want to" he said nervously.
"did you come here just to ask me that? " I asked and chuckled a little.
He get embarrassed by my question and didn't speak up so his friend with a blonde hair and blue eyes spoke for him.
"he didn't have your phone number so we came here to invite you personally. And he keeps talking about you so you better come so we can hang out" I look at him then Michael figuring out what to say.
"come on it'll be fun!" The guy in a nirvana shirt said. And damn theyre tall as fuck.
"oh and this is Luke, Calum and Ashton, they suck sometimes but they're my mates" Michael said. I just nodded and still didn't know what to answer. I'm not in the mood if partying or drinking, to be honest I just wanna be in bed and sleep.
"okay what's happening here? " I heard Bea asked and all eyes were on her. She gave me my coffee and stood beside me and asking what's going on
"we're inviting her to come to a party later, you can come if you want to" calum said. Bea looked at me waiting for my answer but still don't know if u should go or not.
"we're going. What time is the party? " I looked at her like she did something horrible. Now I have to go to the party.
"I'll text you guys the info and we'll pick you guys up" Michael said. Bea gave her phone number and thanked her.
"so... See you guys later?" Michael looked at me like he wants to hear the answers from me so I said yes. He looks excited and happy tho and it's kinda cute.
They said their goodbyes and when they're all gone I looked at Bea emotionless. "what? You'll be fine Zoe and it's pretty obvious that Michael likes you" I frowned on what she said
"how can you say that, he don't even know me that much"
"trust me, I just know" and she took a sip of her coffee. So I guess Im attending a party later.
