They make their way towards the huge stadium and Cedric wraps his arm around his new girlfriend. "Since when are you and Zabini friends?" "Christmas holidays. The time I was working to get Sirius Blacks name redeemed. We planned to make it a full on drama show and everything but.. I guess we'll have to pre-perform now." "Show?" "Act like old friends since the beginnings of time in the middle of the great hall with a dramatic hug and everything.", Chrysoprase grins, dramatically moving her hands along with her words. Cedric and Amos find themselves chuckling. "There he is. See you in a second.... BLAISE!" The boy looks up and around, quickly realising they'd have to go ahead with their plan and he spreads his arms widely, only to be halfway tackled in a hug by the newly blonde girl. He twirls her once before setting her down. "What are you doing here?", he asks, his facial expression softening. "I'm here for Quidditch of course.", she answers with a grin and he chuckles. "Oh no. Excuse me for not noticing.", he says, his natural sassy sarcasm coming through, making Chrys grin widely. She simply pokes out her tongue at him. "Zabini. Since when are you dating Lapis?" "Oh. Oh no no no, Malfoy. We are just good friends. My boyfriend is over there." She points at Cedric who earns himself a 'look' from his father and who simply chuckles and makes a waving motion. "Congratulations.", Blaise tells her and they hug once more. "Thank you!" "Since when are you friends then?" "Winter holidays last year. We ran into each other almost daily in diagon alley so we simply started meeting up there on purpose and going for coffee or tea talks and stuff. You know. Friends activities.", Chrysoprase answers honestly, earning herself a small smile from the usually stoic Slytherin. Malfoy is by now gaping as well as fuming while senior is simply staring pointedly at the young girl. "Anyways. I have someone to go back to. I'm so glad to see you, Blaise. We'll see each other in Hogwarts." He nods and gives her a light squeeze before she hurries back to Cedric who wraps his arm around her and earns himself a wide smile from the younger Puff. Her amber eyes lighting up. After a mediocre conversation with the minister they sit down and said man opens the game and in anticipation Chrys takes Cedrics larger hand, lacing their fingers together. She loved quidditch.

Despite the Bulgarian chaser Krum catching the golden snitch the Irish had scored enough to win. Happily applauding the girl has jumped up, only registering absently the presence of two arms wrapping around her from behind until she suddenly notices Cedric standing snug to her. Leaning back she casts a smile up at him. "I told you Ireland all the way."
He cracks a small smile back, then gently tugs her to leave. "Coming.. coming.. What time is it by the way?" Cedric simply opens the little watch around her neck and it chirps the time. "~5:27pm" "Thats why I'm hungry.." "Let's go then.." "One second." Hurrying over to Blaise Chrysoprase gives him a quick hug and the deep skinned boy gently pats her back as he hugs her back. "See you in school, Blaise." He nods and lets her go. "See you in school."
Quickly Chrysoprase reunites with the Diggorys and they leave the ministers box and towards the tents. Suddenly a hand grabs her arm and pulls her back. "Malfoy?" The blond boy presses his lips against her ear. "Don't go to bed. Something will be happening.", he whispers almost inaudibly. Chrys looks at him with wide eyes and he quickly casts a glance down to where he had grabbed her. Her left lower arm. And she immediately understands. Lucius Malfoy walks up to them with a dark gaze. "I would appreciate it if you'd take your hands off me, Malfoy. And telling me to immediately leave my boyfriend isn't really of any importance to me if your opinion is actually worthless to me.", Chrysoprase says with narrowed eyes. Helga she begged that she played her role well enough. Dracos eyes look confused for a moment, but then in the mirror of amber in hers he sees his fathers siluette and growls agressively. "You'll be crawling to me soon enough, Lapis.", he hisses through gritted teeth and Chrysoprase rips her arm free from his grasp. "In your dreams, Malfoy."

She storms off but her mind is racing. Death eaters. Death eaters! And if she'd cry murder and alert the aurors she'd potentially put Draco Malfoys life on the line. As much as she didn't like to admit it but there was something good left in him that he had just used to possibly save her life while risking his.
She wouldn't put his life even further on the line. No way in hell. Hufflepuffs were known for loyalty, friendship and kindness. And she wouldn't be the first Puff to go against those principles and to get someone killed while doing so.
Draco Malfoy was now under her subtle protection, as far as she could offer it. It wasn't much but she would give it her everything still. And if Olivander was right she was meant for great things.

And indeed they came. The cries of innocent people echo through burning field as Chrys pulls Cedric away with her. The older boys was sleepy just a few moments ago. He had fallen asleep in her lap. Now he was wide awake.
They make their way for the trees and she hurriedly, not giving any fucks anymore, takes her wand, casting a shielding and an invisibility charm over them so they'd be protected, then they sit down.
Amos had joined the aurors in their pursuit of those to blame and left the two teenagers to run away by themselves. "What.." "Shhh." Chrys clamps her hand over Cedric's lips as she hears the footsteps. Luckily its just the Weasley twins with Ginny. Taking a blanket out of her still shrunken Backpack she had taken with them she drapes it around Ginny and makes them visible again. "What are you guys doing here?", Ginny says, her teeth chattering as she curls into the blanket. "Not dying. I think they killed the muggles.", Chrysoprase answers softly, refusing to say the words creeping up her throat and instead swallowing them all down.
"Godric.", Ginny whispers.. Or gasps. Their gaze follows hers up to the sky where the dark mark is displayed from what looks like to be thunderstorm clouds. Dark and ominous but unmistakable like the scream of a banshee.
