prologue

Behind the tallest walls of stone slumbers the softest beating heart, filled with kindness and love to the brim.
Those who control the elements and come as quick and gently as the rain or the wind have the strength to breach even the hardest stone and take claim of the warmth hidden inside.

Chrysoprase wanted nothing more than to reach up to the glory of her older sister.
For most of her young life she had been glued to the older girl. They were as close as sisters could be. But then Sapphire jumped. At first Chrysoprase found herself hating her for doing so but then she learned slowly but surely about why she did it and to bow her head to honor her sister who quite possibly was the one to safe her from an unhappy arranged marriage.
Still.. She missed her. So, secretly, she bought the painting. Secretly and per mail. But soon enough an owl delivered the portrait directly to her quarters where she hung it up.
"Hey Chrys.", Sapphire had greeted her and she had cried in happiness, kissing the pictures cheek.

Chrysoprase got older. And soon enough got her Hogwarts letter.
She was off to follow her sisters footsteps and finally go further than her.
