Chrys finds Blaise standing right in front of the post owlery and greets him with a smile. Hurrying over to him she links her arm with his, falling into step with him. "Anything new?" "Not yet. The ministry doesn't seem to be reacting to my letters so I am even more tempted to use my families name..", Chrys tells him, pulling a face when speaking of the ministry. Blaise smiles a tight lipped smile. Almost unnoticeable. "That way you'd definitely succeed in gaining some attention." "Maybe I should just.. Go ahead and do it." She earns herself a shrug. "One question. Why do you always take my arm when we are walking?" "Is it bothering you?" "Not necessarily. Just confuses me." "I can't really talk and concentrate on walking straight, if I'm honest. I'll just talk and then fall down a set of stairs or run into a lantern post or.. you get the gist." "Really?", Blaise chuckles. "Don't laugh!", she playfully jabs him in the side, "Do I really need to prove it or will you just take my word for it? I don't fancy a nosebleed or broken bones right now." "I guess I'll believe you then." "Thank Merlin." Without her knowing or noticing it he had stirred them closer to a lantern post and Chrys just speaks like nothing is wrong only another step away from the metal post and he quickly pulls her away before she really slams into it. She really didn't lie. And it was kind of... cute.

They enter the same bakery as the last time and order their drinks. This time both drink a cappuchino, cake-wise this time around Chrysoprase chooses a slice of Peach- Cheesecake and Blaise a slice chocolate cake. "So... What's it like being a Lapis?", Blaise asks Chrys. "Shit." He raises his eyebrows, encouraging her to talk. "My parents, though mostly my father, are pureblood fanatics with post-traumatic stress disorder and me and my sister were the only ones to ever get sorted into another house but Slytherin. She was punished when they got the first chance to do so and I had to sneak her food for a month. Now they are just sticking to me like fungicides I can't get off and trying to more subtly control me before they loose their last heir since my father can't have any more children." Chrys brushes through her long brunette hair. "What's with your sister? Did she run away?" "I wish... She killed herself, Blaise. That's what my family is known for. Being so cruel to their first heir that she committed suicide. They have lost a lot of Brownie points, especially with the family she was supposed to marry into.." "That's insane.. I'm so sor..." "Never apologize for something you had no influence on. She didn't want to get married to a slimy pureblood git just to become a breeding machine so she did what she did. My parents drew up that contract. Not you. I don't need any condolences. I need people who are stronger than that and simply stay by my side." Blaise nods. He understood where the brunette girl was coming from. No words can raise the dead. "Do you have a picture if her?" "Hundreds." Chrys says, cracking a smile. She reaches into her purse and draws out three pictures connected together. They showed her and Sapphire napping together, her sister reading to her as Chrysoprases head rests in her lap and one where Chrysoprase simply is hugging her sitting sister from behind, kissing her cheek as the blonde laughs happily. Gently she hands them over to Blaise. He looks down at the moving pictures. "You have the same eyes." "I'm thinking about bleaching my hair like hers. I loved how she looked like that... Maybe I'll join the fun." "How was she?" "Very Gryffindor.", Chrys laughs and takes back the pictures, putting them where they belong. "A Gryffindor? Really?" "Jup. My father was furious while I think my mother was secretly happy. My mother was a Ravenclaw with a heart for lions as you know." Blaise nods. "What are they going to do if you don't want to marry a pureblood?" "Hopefully jump off the roof themselves.", Chrys shrugs. "Do you hate them?" "Hate is not really a word befitting what I feel towards them. I despise them. But at the same time I love them. Because despite the way they were raised emotionally crippling them they love me in their very.. very horrific way." "That's not a very Hufflepuff thing to say now, is it?" "Loyalty is for the Hufflepuffs. And I am loyal to my sister beyond her death. She was the only one I actually considered and consider to truly be my family and I can not forgive nor forget that they forced her into doing what she did, even if I honestly am trying there will always be that distance.", Chrysoprase says. Blaise nods. He was impressed by her. "Chrys..?" "Yes?" "Let's be friends." Chrysoprase smiles, setting down her cup. "I'd love that."
