"Damn it, Blaise! Hurry or we'll miss it!", Chrysoprase curses as she drags her friend after her. He slows down purposefully while Draco, Theo and Pansy who are walking with them as well laugh at the exasperated expression on Chrys's face. She finally just let's go of his arm and instead grabs Pansy's. "Will you three at least hurry a bit with me so we'll make it in time?" Pansy grins and walks a bit faster. "Don't worry. We'll make sure you have a good view." Chrysoprase beams at her, when suddenly she is pulled back and a hand grabs hers. In shock she lets go of Pansy's arm and instead now holds onto Blaise again. Not even bothering to question him she simply hurries a bit and they walk onto the lawn, looking up at the carriage pulled by eight winged horses with lovely white fur and manes. She gasps softly. Then a large ship surfaces from the dark waters of sea, lapping at the shore with its foaming tongues. It looked majestic. "My father originally wanted me to visit Durmstrang", Draco says. "Really? Why didn't you go?" "My mother insisted I'd be schooled in Hogwarts.", he answers her question. Chrysoprase nods. "My whole family was taught here... My mom was a Ravenclaw and my dad a Slytherin.", Chrys says and smiles softly. "And your sister?" "Gryffindor.", Chrys answers softly. "Are you the odd one out with Hufflepuff?" "Can I be honest with you?" Her four friends give her a nod. "The sorting hat actually considered me for Slytherin but he said I was too nice to be one. That's why I'm a Hufflepuff..", she admits. "You were going to be one of us?", Pansy asks. Chrys nods and laughs. "I don't think I'd have made a good Slytherin though." "Yeah. Me neither. But we could have been dorm mates and that would have been fun. Salazar knows Greengrass, Flint and Prass are so incredibly annoying.", Pansy exclaims, rolling her eyes and groaning. "Are they?", Chrys giggles. "YES! 'My father has drawn up a new wedding contract with.. GOD KNOWS WHO.' 'I think this bra pushes up my NOT EXISTENT tits just enough.' 'Do you think SOME RANDOM IDIOT likes me too?' 'Do you think I can seduce SOME POOR SOD in this new shitty piece of flimsy clothing?' I can't stand it! It's hell.", Pansy explodes, making the Hufflepuff shake with laughter and the boys each inwardly smile. "Am I glad you find this amusing because I can't. Not anymore. It's driving me insane. If I hear them try to impress each other with their imaginary love lives one more time I'm going to strangle the life out of each and every single one them!", Pansy sighs. Chrys gives her a slight hug, still laughing. "Mine just gossip and talk about boys they are interested in. Sometimes they ask stupid questions but most of the time I can just ignore them." "Lucky." She joins back with Blaise, resting her head in his shoulder. "Are you okay?" Chrysoprase nods. "I'm just a bit scared by the thought of this tournament. I told you already, didn't I?" "No. Told me what?" "A relative of mine slit her own throat when participating in the Triwizard tournament. And knowing Cedric and my friends I think at least one of them will go and participate. I'm terrified of this tournament, Blaise. People die partaking in it.", she mumbles. "Come here." The boy wraps his arm around her and she simply holds onto him tightly. "Diggory is more capable than you give him credit for. If he or one if your other friends participates then I'm pretty sure they'll be fine." "You won't enter, right? Promise me, Blaise." "I didn't plan on it." "Thanks." "Chrys." Hermione calls out to the girl, making her look over to her, still clinging onto the taller boys uniform. "Go. I'll be waiting." She nods and jogs over to the brown haired girl. "What is it?", she asks. "Are you also a death eater?" Ron and Harry have quickly joined them and Chrys narrows her eyes. "I think you are overstepping your boundaries, there.", she hisses. "So you are?" "I'm not. And neither are my friends. Just because you can't be mature enough to just keep away doesn't mean I have to limit myself with whom I befriend." "How is Cedric okay with you just being felt up by a bunch of Death eaters? Huh?" "Cedric is the only boy that has EVER touched me in any suggestive way. Not that I'd owe you any justification if it wasn't the case. And they don't 'feel me up' they support me and accept me with open arms. I am not very good with moving and conversing, you'd know that if you really ever were my friends, which is why I hold onto Blaise or any of my friends when we are walking and my boyfriend isn't around. And if I want to hug my friends I can do that and I don't owe you any explanation for it. I don't even know why I'm still talking to you because quite frankly I'd really like to hex you right now. We aren't even friends anymore! Why are you still considering yourselves to be a part in my life?! Fuck off!" Chrysoprases voice has gotten louder and more biting with every word she says until she is close to yelling at the golden trio. "We aren't friends anymore because of you.", Ron says, narrowing his eyes back at her, squaring up. She had gotten him into his Gryffindor fury. But hell hath no fury over a Hufflepuff scorned. And Chrysoprase Lapis was all but ready to rip the ginger into pieces. "Oh REALLY? Because of mean old me!? It's not like I just told you to stop bullying Hermione since I was the one helping her dry her tears in Myrtles bathroom and the one casting glamour charms on her for her to hide her red, puffy eyes. It's not like then Hermione just went against all principles of actually good choices in friends and took to befriending her bully and his sidekick. It's totally my fault that you are a self-righteous little shit that can't communicate with another human being that outsmarts them by leagues and therefore takes to speaking badly about them to feel better. It's honestly pathetic. Almost as pathetic as just acting as if they never made you sob in that bathroom and tell me that you just want to go home and back to living as a normal muggle because you can't take it anymore. I'm so sick and tired of that. Thank Helga for Cedric and all of my friends so I don't even have to consider it." The girl turns on her heel and stomps back to Blaise who wraps his arm around her and she hers around him. "Sorry for exploding guys but they piss me off so much. Some Gryffindors really are okay but I just can't with their air of pretence." The four Slytherins all just enclose her amongst their little group. "You stood up for us as well. And it's Potter, Weasley and Granger. You can yell at them as much as you want and I'll still applaud you.", Draco says with a roll of his eyes, earning himself a smile and a playful shove. "I really do appreciate you guys. I'd do it again if I have to."
