Epilogue

"Jasper! Sodalith! Not so fast!" Chrys hurries after her eldest children, carrying their middle child Onyx, while Cedric follows with their youngest, Rubin, a smile in his lips. Chrys finally, after stepping onto the Platform, just levitates the twins above the ground, while Onyx giggles happily. The three year old claps her hands as Chrys sighs. "What am I going to do with you two?!" "Hopefully let us down, mum.", Jasper says and Cedric who has joined them laughs at their misery. A few other parents do too. "I'll have to thing about that. What the hell are you thinking?! Imagine if you would have fallen onto the bloody traintracks." "Chrys." "Draco! And Blaise? What are you doing here?" She greets them with a kiss on the cheek each since she can hardly just drop her children. "Dropping off his son and my godchild and Teddy." Teddy shoots into Chrys's arms and she finally sets down her two eldest in Order to hug the Hufflepuff. "Cedric. Get their things loaded into the train, will you?" "Of course. But where do I leave Rubin?" "Hand him over, Diggory." The small boy rests in Blaises arms as Cedric rounds up the twins. "They are getting more and more like their father. Quiet but danger magnets...", Chrys sighs, "If Rubin and Onyx grow up like that I think I'll just give up." The men chuckle. Teddy quickly says his goodbye to her, then joins his friends on the train. "Mamam.", Rubin babbles, grinning. Chrys smiles and gently pokes her youngest sons nose, while Onyx snuggles into her, shyly avoiding being seen. "Mum." The twins shoot to their side, quickly sticking to their mothers dress skirt. "Yes?" "We'll get going now." "Okay. Be careful. Don't get injured too much or too badly. I love you two. See you for Christmas." "Love you too, mum.", they chorus, before boarding the train together. Cedric returns and takes Rubin again. He is followed by the Potters and Weasleys. They all exchange hugs and polite chatter. "Are you going back to teaching at Hogwarts when Rubin is old enough to go to school?", Harry asks. Chrys nods. "Professor McGonagall assured me she'd make sure to tell the other teachers their employment is temporary. So yes. We'll be back. How about you?" Harry grins. "Me too." "Great! We'll be colleagues once more!", she laughs.. "A gathering? Without us?" Nicholas and Cho Greene join them, as well as Eleanor and Willa and Pansy and Reese. "You are welcome to join us.", Cedric chuckles. "Helga am I glad they are finally out of the house. I thought I was going to go mad. Finally some alone time with my wife.", Nicholas sighs, earning himself a slap from Cho. "I warned you, idiot!", she says and he raises his hands in surrender.
"We'll miss our little girl.", Willa says softly. "Chrys!" "Estelle! Theo!" Estelle rushes to her, smooches her cheek, then coos at her goddaughter. "Hello baby. You get prettier every day!" Lifting Onyx into her arms she smooches the little girls cheeks, making her giggle. Theo wordlessly hugs Chrys, then gently pokes Onyxs cheek.

They all talk for a bit longer and wave their children goodbye before parting and promising to visit one another soon. The Diggorys leave kings cross together with their two youngest and arrive back home. Rubin is placed into his bed for a nap and Onyx naps in hers, leaving the parents with some alone time.
Happily they take the chance and cuddle in their large bed.
"I love you."
"I love you too. To the grave and beyond."
"Well.. How about another child then?"
"No way in bloody hell, Cedric."
