Epilogue

After being caught by Abbey, Taehyung and I got both girls together, and sat with them, explaining what had happened, how all the guys had shown up at the door not long after they'd left for camp, about their letter not winning, but kind of winning anyway. How we were invited to every U.S. concert they ever held, from now on, with back stage passes. How V was left here to spend some time with me, since the two of them had informed everyone that he was my favorite.

We told them about our trip to the zoo, and showed them all the pictures the guys had sent me. Abbey asked if that meant I had all their phone numbers in my contacts, and Tae answered her, telling her I did. I also told them that I had actually lost Taehyung, that he had left, and gone back to Korea. He then told them, to what appeared to be their utter shock, that he'd come back last night, because he knew he couldn't live without me.

At first they were quiet.  

"So, are you... staying here now?" Abbey questioned.

"Just for today and tomorrow. Then I have to go back. But I'll be back whenever I can, and who knows, maybe I'll even bring Jimin or Yoongi with me sometime."

Abbey had turned pale, her eyes going wide, and Ali smiled.

I knew eventually, they would be fine, and be able to act like themselves. But I knew too that it would take time. As much as I was getting used to Taehyung being so close to me, it was still something that hit me every once in awhile, to the point where I would pinch myself, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

After Tae's time ended and he flew back home to work on a new album, it was hard. I missed him so much, but he'd call me every chance he got, and he'd text me every morning at the same time. He would be getting ready to slow down for the day when I was getting up, and he would send me a text that said 'Good morning, beautiful" without fail every single day.

Being in a long distance relationship is hard...not because I doubted how he felt, but just because I missed him so much. There were days that I didn't know if I could keep doing it. I just wanted to hop on a plane, and fly to Korea. But I got thru each day. When I started to hear from him less, I worried, but then he would call me, and we would talk for an hour, as he explained to me how busy he would get from time to time.

The last time we talked, he said they would be getting a few days off soon, and he would be coming to spend them with me, possibly bringing someone with him. He wouldn't tell me who, but I could only guess.

Abbey was 18 now, and I had a feeling Tae wanted to introduce her to Jimin, and see if they got along.

Only time would tell...
