Okay, so I had this random idea:
Poe is like Rey's older brother. He just wants Ben away from her incase she gets hurt(even though Ben would never hurt her). So any mission that includes Ben and Rey alone together he will send someone else along or even go himself to be the third wheel. Rey is oblivious but Ben is super annoyed about this.
'You know you really don't have to come...'
'And leave you two alone together? I DON'T THINK SO!'
But..
Ben is really grateful to Poe for being there for Leia. Poe is happy that Leia's final wish came true. But he and all the Republic will kick Ben's ass if he does something to Rey that hurts her.
