Chapter 17: We Found-- Two Books?!

Third Person's POV

Nang makalabas si Jade sa tunnel, hindi maipaliwanag ng mga royalties ang saya na naramdaman nila. Iniisip palang na malapit na silang makauwi ay hindi na sila makapaghintay. Sa wakas, they're going home tomorrow or the next day.

Lumapit si Jade sa mga royalties na kasalukuyang binabantayan si Rock na walang malay at sugatan. Sa kanilang pito, si Rock ang napuruhan ng todo. Maraming pasa at galos ito dulot ng pakikipaglaban sa dambuhalang leon na gawa sa bato.

"Someone has to watch over Rock. Someone needs to stay here." Jade said. Her voice was tired and all but she's still standing mighty and high.

Bigla mamang nagsalita si Aira. "I will. You get the book, ako na magbabantay sakanya." She said and you can see the other royalties with a glimp of teasing in their eyes. Even though they're tired, there craziness won't vanish.

Tumayo si Jade. "Let's continue. Aira, you watch over Rock while we get the book." Jade said and the others stood up and follow her.

"Stay safe here." Sienna said to Aira. She just nodded and looked at Rock.

Nagsimula na silang naglakad hanggang sa makaabot sila sa harapan ng isang pintuan. The front has medium-sized circle, it was high and the door was made of some sort of ancient wood. They looked at each other, asking what is this for. Headmistress didn't told them anything about the door.

Something on Jade's mind came up. She looked at them. "Where's the pieces?" She said. Ice showed the missing pieces. Halatang alam na nila kung anong ibig-sabihin ni Jade. They looked on the circle at nagsimula na siyang buoin ang mga pieces na nahanap nila. The others helped her build the puzzle but after many attempts, they failed to combine the pieces.

"Anong kulang?!" Ice said, seems frustrated and pulled his hair. His face looks tired, dulot narin sa pakikipaglaban. He suddenly remembered something.

Lumapit siya kay Jade. "Dala mo ba yung binigay ni Headmistress?" He asked. Jade took something from her pocket at pinakita ang isang triangle-shaped piece. Kinuha iyon ni Ice at siya na ang bumuo ng puzzle. The other royalties were just looking at him, confused and waiting patiently for him to finish, after that, he came up on the puzzle, kaya pala hindi nila mabuo-buo ang puzzle, a piece is missing, and it's the piece Jade gave to him.

And that missing piece is what Headmistress Marcella gave to them. Unti-unting nilapit ni Ice ang piece na hawak niya at nang dumikit ito, isang malaking liwanag ang bumungad sakanila, making them cover their eyes from the light.

Pagbukas nila ng mata nila, bukas na ang pintuan. Napangiti sila at sabay-sabay pumasok. Excitement rushed through their veins, kahit na hindi ngumingiti si Jade at kita mo ang saya sa mukha nito.

And when they entered, they immediately saw the dark book. Sumilay ang saya sa mga mukha nila.

"Yes! Nahanap na natin ang—teka, bakit dalawa ang libro dito?" Sienna said in confusion, her smile faded. Napatingin sila sa katabi ng itim na libro, at ang katabi nun ay isang puting libro.

Nilapitan nila iyon. The black book has a cover written on it is 'the chosen one' and it is the same as the cover of the light book.

"Does this mean—there are two chosen in the prophecy?" Hack said. His eyes grew big, halatang shock ito sa nakita.

Nagkatinginan sila. "We need to give this to Headmistress."

Maingat na kinuha ni Jade ang puting libro habang si Hack naman sa itim. Lumabas sila sa kwartong pinasukan nila at bumalik sa kanila Aira.

When Aira saw them, confusion is visible in her eyes, especially when she saw the two books. "The King and Queen has some explaining to do." Sienna said. Agad silang nag teleport pabalik sa bahay nila lalo na't walang malay si Rock, baka hindi nalang muna ito papasok at babantayan nalang ni Rocco.

They checked the time, It's already 7 o'clock in the morning. Dalawa ng oras rin ang ginugol nila sa paghahanap ng nawawalang libro. Inihiga ni Hack at Ice si Rock sa kama ng padapa dahil may sugat ang likod nito.

After that, they placed the books on a table.

"Kailangan natin protektahan ito while we are still in the mortal world." Aira said. Hinarap nila ang mga palad nila sa mga libro at nag-cast ng spell para maprotektahan ang libro.

Pumasok na sila sa kani-kanilang kwarto para makapagbihis, even though they're tired, they need to go to school, plano nilang magpaalam kay Dylan mamayang uwian.

Jade, on the other hand, felt sad unknowingly. She doesn't even know what's happening to her! She was then a cold hearted princess, but it seems that her heart is melting.

Nang makaayos na silang lahat ay dumiretso sila sa baba para makausap si Rocco.

"Please take care of Rock while we are on school, malala ang sugat niya sa likod." Aira said. She seems so worried.

Tumango si Rocco. He assures that nothing is going to happen on Rock.

"Yes, your highness, nakahanap rin po ako ng mga halamang gamot na magpapagaling sa prinsipe." Rocco said kaya panatag ang loob ni Aira dahil may mapagiiwanan siya kay Rock.

"May I ask royalties? Kailan po ang alis niyo?" Rocco said. His voice asked so softly but there is still a hint of respect in it.

"We planned na bukas ang alis namin, meron na kaming rason para sa principal nila." Hack said then checked his watch. He was smiling like a dog.

"We going to be late. Let's go." Hack said kaya nagpaalam na sila isa-isa kay Rocco.

They teleported papuntang tagong parte ng eskuwelahan tsaka dumiretso sa gate. Bago sila pumunta sa klase nila, They all went to the Principal's Office para makapagpaalam.

Sienna knocked on the door, after a few knocks, they heard the principal's voice.

"Please come in!" The principal said. Jade first entered the room followed by the others. Nang napatingin sakanila ang principal, sumilay ang ngiti nito.

"Good morning! What can I do for you?" The principal said. She was smiling at them.

"Good morning po. Gusto lang po sana namin sabihin na mapapaaga po ang pag-alis namin. Supposed to be po isang linggo kami dito pero po kasi bukas po dapat last day namin pero aalis na po kami kasi po may important matters po sa school." Sienna said. Mukha namang naiintindihan ng principal ang paliwanag nila kaya naman ay pumayag ang principal man bukas ang alis nila. Their explanation is just so weird.

"Sige, I will ready your papers." The principal said. Parang walang bakas ng kalituhan sa boses nito.

They bid goodbye to the principal then headed to their classroom. Pagpasok nila ay nakita nila agad si Dylan na nakaupo at nakikipagusap sa mga kaibigan nito. Biglang napatingin ang lalaki sakanila at ngumiti. "Morning." He said with a smile.

The also greeted Dylan and went to their seats. Tinapunan ni Jade si Dylan dahilan para mapatingin ito sakanya. "Pwede ka ba namin makausap mamaya ng uwian?" She said. Naguguluhan man, tumango nalang si Dylan.

"Okay, where?" Tanong nito.

"Sa garden." Sabi naman ni Jade at saktong pagharap niya sa board ay pumasok na ang teacher.

They just listened to the lesson pero si Jade, palaisipan parin sakanya kung paanong naging dalawa ang libro na nakuha nila, samantalang ang alam nila, isa lang ang libro na dapat kukunin nila dahil isa lang ang itinakda sa propesiya. Bumabagabag sa isipan niya na baka dalawa ang nasa propesiya. Pero kung dalawa man, paanong isa lang ang kilala nilang nasa propesiya? Bakit dalawa ang libro na nakuha nila?
