Chapter 31: Championship

Jade's POV

I am now preparing for the championship, I am wearing my combat uniform while in the dorm. Tomorrow is the beginning of the battle of magics. Babawi daw si Sienna pati si Hack, they won't be watching the championship, they will practice their powers.

We are currently at the dorm right now, preparing to go to the Arena. Minutes from now, the battle will start. I tied my hair into a bun, I always do my hair a high ponytail with a glasses on my eyes. Bumaba na ako, when I went down, I saw them sitting comfortably at the chair, probably waiting for me. Tinignan ako si Rock.

"Alam mo, tuwing lalabas tayo, ikaw ang parating nahuhuli. Ano bang ginagawa mo at natatagalan ka?" He asked. Bigla namang lumapit saakin si Hack.

"Hala, anong ginagawa mo Jade?" He gave me a suspicious look. I glared at him and throw him a fireball. He casted a shield para hindi siya matamaan.

"Thanks for throwing the fireball at me, kasali iyon sa practice ko." Sabi niya at tumakbo paakyat.

Lumabas na kami at dumiretso na sa Arena. Ice didn't come too, he said she will look after Sienna and Hack. He is becoming possessive to Sienna though.

When we reached the Arena, students and visitors are already there as well as the Kings and Queens. Dumiretso na ako sa ground, para pag nagstart na ang laban, hindi na ako mahihirapang pumunta pa dito. I already saw Kuya Ghoul walking towards the seat beside me. While he was walking, he looked at me.

'The bet.' He mouthed at me. I just nodded. He sat beside me.

"Where Alysia?" He asked. I roam around the Arena, I saw ate sitting beside mom and dad, looking intently at us.

"Beside mom and dad. I think a second from now, she's going to kill me with that stare of hers." I said. Lumingon naman saakin si Kuya na nagtataka. He followed my gaze at ate. When she saw we are looking at her, she immediately avoid our gaze.

"I think she's jealous." Sabi ko. Biglang namula si Kuya.

"Princess, wag mo 'ko paasahin, baka pag umasa ako, masasaktan lang rin ako ulit." He used to like Ate Magenta. Sadly, she likes Kuya Sharp.

"If she accepted your court, then it means you have chance." Sabi ko. He just shrugged. Sakto namang dumating si Ate Magenta, siya muna ang papalit sa pwesto ni Headmistress. She grabbed the microphone and greeted everyone.

"Good Morning, students, visitors and Royalties! We are down to our final day for the combat battle! Sino kaya ang mananalo for this Synthix Week's Combat Battle? Is it the undefeatable Princess Jade? Or is it Ghoul?" She said happily.

"Contestants, your battle will start." She said.

Dumiretso kami sa gitna ng ground. "Good luck Princess." Kuya Ghoul said.

I summoned my sword and prepared. Gladly, my hair didn't distract my face.

"Contestants, no killing." Sabi ni ate. I can hear the students screaming so loud.

Noisy

"Okay! Your battle starts in 3.....2......1 fight!"

Una akong sinugod ni Kuya. Madali akong umilag at iniharang ang espada ko para hindi niya ako masugatan. Our sword clashed making a sound. Binaba niya ang espada niya para masugatan ako pero madali ko iyon naiharang. I grabbed the chance to kick him. Napalayo siya saakin at hinawakan ang tagiliran niya nasipa ko.

I changed my sword into a bow and summoned an arrow. Inatake ko siya ng mga arrows ko at mabilis siya umilag at ang iba ay iniharang niya gamit ang espada niya, pero nasugatan siya dahil may tumama sakanya ang isang arrow at natamaan siya sa braso making him bleed.
