Chapter 12: The Wind Eagle

Aira's POV

Pagkapasok ko palang sa tunnel ay isang malamig na hangin agad ang bumungad saakin. I guess I'm in the sky.

I am flying, searching for the guardian I'm going to fight with, pero wala akong makita maliban sa langit at kung titignan mo sa baba, mga ulap lang makikita mo.

I suddenly stopped in the mid-air when someone suddenly popped into my mind. Is he doing okay? I hope so.

Nawala ako sa iniisip ko ng palakas ng palakas na ang hangin. I looked around cause I can hear a sound of an Eagle but I can't see one. Bigla para may pumalo sa saakin kaya napaatras ako. Damn, it's invisible. I looked around pero wala talaga akong makita.

I closed my eyes and felt my sorroundings, naramdaman ko ang presensya niya sa likod ko kaya umatras ako at nilabas ang shield ko. I blinked my eye, and in that one blink, my eyes turned white and I can now see the Eagle infront of me. That's one of my abilities, I can see those who makes themselves invisible. I summoned my sword and tried to attack the Eagle, pero mailap siya at madaling naiwasan ang atake ko.

Napaatras ako ng atakihin niya ako gamit ang pakpak niya. I casted wind bombs at itinapon iyon sakanya, nakailag siya sa ibang mga bomba pero mas marami ang nakalapit sakanya at nasabugan siya. He shouted and throwed Air Strikes on me. I was late to dodge it kaya natapon ako sa
mas malayong parte ng langit, he suddenly went near me and made a thin scream that can almost make my ear drums shatter.

Napatakip ako ng tenga at sinugod siya.

Naging mailap ako sa bawat atake ko pero nakakaatake rin siya pabalik saakin.

He suddenly throwed Air Knives on me that wounded my arm.

Damn this Eagle! I will make you pay!

I went near him at iwinasiwas ang espada ko sa pakpak niya dahilan para masugatan ang pakpak niya. He shouted then inambahan ako ng mga mabibilis na atake kaya hindi ko na mailagan pa. Masakit na ang katawan ko dahil sa ginawa niya.

So that's why he's one of the Guardians.

Sinubukan ko pang lumaban pero nanghihina na ang katawan ko.

Aatakihin pa sana niya ako but I created a dome to protected me. I need to rest for a while.

Biglang pumasok si Rock sa isip ko.

"Hoy! Saan tayo pupunta Rock?!" I asked him while following him.

"Basta." He said without even giving me a quick glance.

Bigla siyang huminto sa gitna ng garden.

"Anong ginagawa natin dito Rock? Bumalik na tayo sa Dorm! Papagalitan tayo ni Jade neto eh!" I said.

Tumawa siya. Then what I saw next shook me.

All the CRST A Students are in the garden, smiling, kasama na doon ang mga royalties na nakangiti except Jade who is just staring at us while her hands are crossed. I looked at Rock when he started talking.

"Aira, since the day I met you, I can't stop thinking about you, ikaw ang parating nasa isip ko and I can't help falling for you, I fell in love with you suddenly without you knowing, but I chose to hide it, pero ngayon nagkaroon ako ng lakas ng loob para sabihin sayo na..... Mahal kita, Aira." He said na nagpalaki ng mata ko lalo.

"R-rock." I said while my voice was stuttering.

"So, Aira, Princess of Aeria kingdom and the holder of the Air element, you stole the oxygen in my lungs and you became the center my life, I'm now standing in front of you to ask your permission if I can be also the center of yours. Can I court you? Aira?" He said and I can feel my eyes watering. I looked around and I can see students looking at us, waiting for my answer.

I looked at Rock. "Sorry." I said then started running back to my dorm. I can hear them calling my name but I just ignored them.

"Jade..."I said. She walked near me and smiled, gone the emotionless face of hers.

"I can't feel what your feeling right now, but I know it's hard making that decision. But always remember, even though you rejected him, Rock's still there for you, to be your friend. We're just here for you." She said tsaka nawala na sa harapan ko.

Nagising ako sa pagkakalutang ng isip ko. Tinignan ko ang Eagle na pilit inaalis ang dome na ginawa ko. Tama si Jade, after this, I will confess my feelings to him.

Umalis ako sa dome tsaka nagpalabas ng malakas na tornado, sabay nun ang sunod sunod na pag atake ko sa Eagle, hindi na siya nakailag so I grabbed that chance to kill him. Sinaksak ko siya ng espada ko kaya naglaho siya. Biglang may umilaw na bagay kaya kinuha ko iyon.
