Chapter 52: Bonding

Dylan's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, I don't know why. I tried sleeping again but my eyes weren't closing. I decided to go outside, maybe at the garden to stay though.

I stood up and wore my slippers and slowly walked outside my room. Tumingin ako sa labas kung may gising pa na Royalty. When I saw no one outside, I went outside slowly and walked down the hallway.

Tulog pa ang mga estudyante kaya naging maingat ako sa mga hakbang ko. Nang makalabas ako ng building ay sinilip ko muna kung may guard. When I saw one, I think of how I could pass him.

I thought of something. I have this ability of speed that if I use it, it's like I'm an air passing through. I smirked, I prepared my self to run pass the guard.

When I know I was ready, tumakbo ako ng napakabilis at tumango sa may likod ng puno para tumago.

I heard a guard let out a shivering sigh. "Grrr..... ang lamig naman." Sabi niya. I chuckled quietly before walking towards the garden.

When I entered the gate of the garden, my eyes widen in amusement and my lips formed into an 'O' because of what my eyes are seeing right now.

The garden is so bright because of the diamonds hanging in the tree. Pixies are flying around and some are playing. Dust from their wings are falling through the ground. I heard their small and cute giggle while they play.

Lumakad ako papunta sa isang puno at umupo doon habang tinitignan ang mga pixies. It made my body calm and relaxed. I feel comfortable here in the garden.

These past two weeks, I felt something really uncomfortable. Minsan nawawala iyon, pero minsan at bumabalik iyong pakiramdam na iyon. It's like a very bad aura is sorrounding us and is just near.

Jade also felt the same. I asked her while we were in lunch. It's like we are the only one feeling it. I chose to ignore it though. But it's making me really uncomfortable.

I closed my eyes. Then, Jade's face flashed in my mind. Her beautiful eyes, down to her kissable lips. I remembered the moment when we were in the Fallen Mountain. The moment I kissed her soft delectable lips. It's so addicting that I want more but I need to control the urge to kiss her. It will ruin the friendship we have.

"Prince Dylan?" Napadilat ako ng mata ng makarinig ako ng boses. I looked at the gate and I saw a woman walking towards me. I can't see her at the entrance because it was dark there, pero ng makapasok siya at naaninag ko ang mukha niya.

"Julia, hey." I greeted back. She waved back and sat beside me, but distancing herself. I noticed that she has a companion. I looked at the girl. She looked away and blushed.

"Tumakas kayo?" I asked. Julia laughed and nodded.

"Yeah, we thought of wondering around the Academy since hindi pa kami dinadalaw ng antok." She said.

I nodded. "Me too. Naalimpungatan ako kaya ako lumabas." I said. Tumango-tango lang rin siya.

Napatigil ako bigla sa paghinga ng may maramdaman akong kakaiba. That weird feeling again. Biglang kinakabahan ako sa hindi malaman dahilan. It's like an eye is spying on me from somewhere.

Napalinga-linga ako. Trying to find where does it come from kahit wala naman. The weird aura is so strong right now that it made me really uncomfortable.

I saw from my peripheral vision the confused face of Julia and her companion. "Are you okay? Prince Dylan?" Julia asked me, her forehead was creased while looking at me.

Napahinga ako ng malalim. "Y-yeah." I said at sumandal sa puno. Hindi parin maalis-alis ang aura na iyon kaya madali akong tumayo.

"I should get back now." I informed them. They just nodded and bid goodbye.

Pagkalabas ko ay hindi ako dumiretso sa dorm. Nakarating ako sa Head Tower. It's really high that your neck will hurt while looking up. I decided to go up. Wala naman sigurong tao doon.

When I teleported up, I was a bit shock when I saw Jade sitting down while looking at the sky. Parang naramdaman niya ang presensiya ko kaya lumingon siya saakin.

"Hey." She said. Tumabi ako sakanya ang looked at the sorrounding.

"Kanina ka pa dito?" I asked at her while looking at her. Walang emosyon siyang tumango.

"I felt something again. A weird aura to be exact." She said. Her eyes says that she is now comfortable.

"Nawala na ba?" Hindi ko maiwasang itanong. Tumango lang siya.

"Ikaw?" She suddenly asked.

"Yeah. Naalimpungatan ako. I went to the garden to relax. But I felt something again kaya pumunta ako dito." I said.

She didn't response. Nakatitig ako sa paligid. The Kingdoms looks good up here.

I stood up and walked around. I stopped my foot and settled my eyes at a black castle. It's appearance is scary. The castle is surrounded by a blood like sky. It's sorrounding is scary.

I looked at Jade, only to see her looking at me. My heart thumped loud.

I pointed at the castle. "What kingdom is that?" I curiously asked. Iniwas niya ang tingin niya saakin.

"Trivan." She said. Napalingon ako sa castle. That's why it's scary.

Umupo ako balik sa tabi niya. "So....... how are you with that weird aura?" I asked her.

She shrugged. "I'm just letting it. May time na hindi talaga komportable sa pakiramdam pero hinahayaan ko nalang." She said.

"Me too." I said. I heard her chuckled. Music in my ears.

"How are you?" She asked. Natigilan ako saglit atsaka tinignan siya.

"I'm good. How about you?" I asked.

She nodded and didn't say anything. Napatingin kami sa baba ng makita namin ang guard na lumalakad. Nahahanap siguro ng sutil na estudyante.

"Shhhh." Jade said to me so I closed my mouth to remain silent. Napatawa nalang kami dahil hindi kami nakita ng guard.

"Silly guard." Jade said. Natawa nalang rin ako.

"Ehem." Napatayo kami ng may narinig kaming boses sa likod. Lumingon kami. Mistress Victoria's angry face greeted us.

"What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" Nakataas ang kilay niyang sabi. Napakagat ako ng labi dahil wala akong maisip na rason.

"We're just here to relax Mistress." Depensa ni Jade na mas lalong nagpataas ng kilay ni Mistress Victoria.

"At dito niyo pa talaga gustong mag relax? Why can't you relax at your bed? Go down and go straight to your dorm or I'll tell this to Headmistress early in the morning later." Nagbabanta niyang sabi kaya mabilis kaming nagteleport pababa.

Natawa nalang kami habang dumiretso sa gate ng dorm. Hindi na nagulat ang guard ng makita kami at pinapasok nalang kami.

When we entered our dorm. I looked at Jade. "Thanks for bonding with me." I said.

She smiled a bit. Kahit maliit lang iyon at nagpabilis iyon ng tibok ng puso ko.

"Your welcome." She said then went to her room.

Pumasok narin ako sa kwarto ko. I lay down my bed while looking at the ceiling, smiling like an idiot.

What a great night.
