Chapter 38: Battle of the Chosens

Jade's POV

After the Viking, we went to many other rides. Hack was dizzy and vomiting everywhere so we decided to go back to the dorm. Kahit naman hilong-hilo na siya, I know that he is happy. Julia accepted Hack's courting kaya naman hindi niya maitago ang saya sa mukha niya.

While Rock and Aira, after the confession, pumayag narin itong ligawan siya. The only thing i'm worrying about is Dylan. Kahapon pa kasi ito tahimik pagkatapos naming sumakay sa Viking, his face remains stoic and cold. I know that I've hurt his feelings when I said that I like Kuya Ghoul.

It's morning, last day of the Synthix Week and the Championship Battle for the Battle of Magics. I am getting ready for the battle. I wore my Combat uniform and rubber shoes tsaka lumabas ng kwarto. Before I went out, I saw something on my side table. It was the necklace Dylan gave to me when we were in Mortal World. I grabbed it and placed it on my neck. Sayang naman kung hindi ko magagamit, besides, Dylan gave it to me.

Tuluyan na akong lumabas sa kwarto ko at bumaba na. I saw the other Royalties sitting on the dining room and eating. I roam around the table when I saw someone missing.

Umupo na ako at tinanong sila. "Where's Hack and Dylan?" I asked them coldly. Tinignan ako ni Ice habang ngumunguya. He spoke after he was done chewing.

"Hack is still sleeping, baka hindi na yon manonood ng laban niyo, while Dylan went out the dorm early this morning, he said that he will practice for your battle later." He said.

Why do he need to practice? He's strong already.

Tumango lang ako, I remain my face emotionless. Minsan lang sila makakakita ng emosyon sa mga mata ko, and that 'minsan' includes yesterday.

Tinignan ako ni Aira ng makahulugan at may binulong sa hangin. 'You want me to tell them?'

Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata at umiling. She just chuckled while the others are looking at us, confused.

Pahamak.

I started to eat when I heard the opening of the door. Si Dylan siguro.

Nilingon ko kung sinong pumasok sa dining room. I saw Dylan who is sweating. Damn! He looks hot while he sweat! Nakasuot lang siya ng sando at shorts.

Umupo siya sa harapan ko na kasalukuyang bakante, sa tabi ni Rock.

Umayos ako ng upo at nagmadaling kumain. I can't eat well because of him! Ang lakas ng dating niya saakin.

Nang matapos akong kumain dali-dali kong nilagay ang plato ko sa lababo at pasimpleng umalis.

Pumunta ako sa sala at hinintay silang matapos. When they were finished, sabay-sabay na kaming lumabas at dumiretso na sa Arena.

Dumiretso na kami ni Dylan sa ground, walang kibuan. I'm still not used of his quiet side. Nilapitan ko siya.

"Are you okay? Kahapon ka pa tahimik." Sabi ko. Tinignan niya ako.

"I'm fine, don't mind me." He said coldly. Parang may kumurot sa puso ko nang sinabi niya iyon. It's all my fault.

"I apologize if I've hurt your feelings in any way. You don't look okay to me." Sabi ko sakanya. He just shrugged.

Biglang dumating si Headmistress. "Good morning everyone! Today is the last day of Synthix Week and the Championship Battle for the Battle of Magics! Are you ready to witness the fight of the two chosens?!" She said happily and Headmistress looks excited.

Na puno ng hiyawan ang Arena dahil sa tanong ni Headmistress. Lumayo kami ni Dylan sa isa't isa. I mouthed to him, 'Good luck'. He just nodded.

"Okay! Chosen ones, get ready because your battle, starts........ now!" She said.

Biglang may lightning na papunta saakin, I throwed my powers making it collide with the lightning that created an explosion.

I saw Dylan made a lightning bolt so I made a fireball and throw it to him pero nag collide na naman iyon sa lightning bolt niya. I immediately teleported in his back and throwed fire on him but he turned to me and made a shield. Pinaulanan ko siya ng apoy habang siya while he is protecting himself from me.

Nagulat ako ng bigla siyang nawala. I felt him at my back kaya tumalikod ako at inambahan siya ng apoy pero nagcrash iyon sa kidlat na ginawa niya. It made an explosion kaya napapalibutan ng usok ang buong ground. I keep on throwing him fire while he keep on throwing me lightning.

Naglaho na naman siya. Suddenly, an electric shocked my back making me fall into the ground. Puno parin ng usok ang grounds. Tumayo ako kaagad at naglaho. I moved in his front and created a fire around him at tinamaan siya ng apoy dahilan para matumba siya.

Now, we're even.

Nagpalabas siya ng lightning at pilit pinapatay ang apoy na ginawa ko. Mas lalo ko iyong pinataas para hindi na siya makawala. It's the same tactic I did when I fought with Ate magenta. Nang nawala ang apoy, I was shocked when I saw no one there. Suddenly, there was an electric whip who sorrounded me. Pilit kong kumawala and I saw Dylan with his eyes silver.

Wala na ang usok na pinalibutan sa Arena. I saw cracks on the protection and I saw everyone panicking. Tumayo ang ibang Royalties at gumawa ulit ng protection para hindi makapinsala sa iba. I saw the Kings and Queens looked worried as well as the others.

Mas humigpit ang pagkakagapos ng latigo saakin. I saw the sky from above creating a loud thunder and lightning.

Biglang naglabas si Dylan ng lighting bolt. Kailangan ko makawala. I closed my eyes and concentrated. I felt a large amount of energy flowing in my body. Suddenly, the Arena went hot and when I opened my eyes, I could see my body sorrounded by fire. Nakawala ako sa pagkakatali ng latigo saakin.

Dylan throwed the bolt to me but I dodged it and throwed fire balls on him.

Nagsisimula na akong nanghina dahil sa laban namin. Biglang nandidilim ang paningin ko. A large amount of energy is uncontrolled. Parang ilang sandals nalang at sasabog na ito.

I looked at Dylan who's aiming a lightning at me. Nagpalabas ako ng apoy para harangan ang kidlat dahilan para mag collide itong muli. I gave all my force para matalo siya.

Mas lalong lumakas ang kidlat at kulog na langit. The ground is sorrounded by fire and I can hear the Royalties telling Headmistress to make the fight stop.

Lumalakas lalo ang hangin sa paligid namin. Bigla akong naramdaman na parang may lalabas na mas malakas na kapangyarihan sa katawan ko. I was shocked nang napalibutan ang kidlat na inilabas ni Dylan ng itim na usok.

Napasigaw ako dahil unti-unting may lumalabas na sa katawan ko. When it came out, my eyes immediately closed and the last thing I heard is a very loud explosion before the dark sorrounded me.
