Chapter 64: The Powerful Books

Third Person's POV

Nagulat ang mga Crestors nang mas lalong dumilim ang langit. A creepy laugh was sorrounding the whole Crestelia.

Natakot ang mga Crestors. It's like they're in a horror movie.

The student of Crestelia Academy are preparing as well as the other Academies. They'll teleport in the battle field, and then prepare and wait for the other allies to come.

Headmistress was scared. She knew what just happened. The Demons already got what they want. She was scared that they may not win the war this time, especially because the Gods and Goddesses are also not there to help them.

While in the Trivan Castle. Hinang-hina ang dalawang itinakda habang nakagapos ang mga kamay at maraming pass at sugat sa katawan.

Napatingin si Dylan kay Jade. Tulala ito at parang wala sa sarili.

"Jade." Tawag niya dito dahilan para lumingon ito sakanya.

He gave her a warm smile. Kahit nanghihina ay nagawa parin niyang ngumiti. All for His Jade.

"What was the thing you want to tell me earlier?" He asked her. He was very, very curious about it.

Mukhang napagtanto naman ni Jade ang sinabi ni Dylan dito. "Oh." She said.

Napatingin siya kay Dylan. "It's been a long time since I am hiding this. When we first met in the Mortal World, you already catched my attention. It's because of your presence that keeps me distracted, I don't know why. You always makes me smile. You are changing me into someone I don't know who, but I like the change you've given to me. You're always inside my mind. I can't sleep without thinking about you. Like literally, can't sleep." She said.

He saw Dylan's eyes filled with hope, she saw a glimpse of love.

"W-what are you trying t-to say?" Dylan asked, kinda nervous. They are weak so it's like a whisper.

Jade gave him a smile. A warm one. A true smile. Full of love.

"I like-no, I'm falling for you. Dylan." She confessed.

She saw Dylan froze. His eyes widen and his lips parted.

"W-what?" He wants to confirm what she said. Kita niya ang pagiwas ni Jade sa tingin.

"Jade. Tell that again, please." He pleaded.

"Uhm, I'm falling for you." He saw Jade blushed.

At kahit nanghihina, he managed to smile. He was happy. That's all he wanted to here.

He looked at the clock. It's already 11:59. One minute more.

Nilingon ni Jade si Dylan. "Are you ready?" Jade asked.

Tumango si Dylan. "All for you." He said.

And when the clock striked 12, their body lightened. Napasigaw sila sa sobrang lakas ng enerhiya sa loob nila.

Cracks started forming in their skin. The energy they felt was more stronger than what they felt before.

"Ahhh!" Napasigaw silang dalawa ng kumawala ang enerhiya sa katawan nila.

Napatigil sa paglalakad ang mga estudyante ng may makita silang ilaw na sumabog sa palasyo ng Trivan. Nagkatinginan ang mga royalties na nakasuot na ng armor nila.

Sila ang namumuno sa paglalakbay papunta sa battle field, next to Headmistress.

"The demons, they got it." Makahulugang sabi ni Aira.

Bumalandra ang lungkot sa mukha ng mga Royalties. They were sad because they weren't able to protect the chosen ones. They were sad because they failed to fulfill their promise.

To be as one, to help and protect each other. They all failed doing it, and now, two of their friends suffered.

"Looks like we're going to battle, incomplete." Hack said. This day, Hack is very serious. Nawala ang pagiging joker nito.

Parang nauntog ito sa pader at natauhan.

Humarap si Ice. "We'll fight for them." Ice said. The Royalties agreed.

"For Jade and Dylan." They said and continued walking.

Nakarating sila sa Main Hall where they found the Main door to the exit. They can't use teleportation for some reasons.

"Is anybody there?! Let us out! Please!" Ani ng boses.

Napalingon sila. Only to see the two books placed on a stand. Umiilaw ito at gumagalaw.

Nagkatinginan sila. The voices are familiar.

"Could it be?" Jade asked. Dylan shrugged and went to the stand.

Bubuksan na sana ito ni Dylan ngunit pinigilan siya ni Jade.

"Dylan! Wait!" Jade stopped him making him frown.

Both of them are wearing an armor, white for Jade that mixed with red and Dylan was wearing a black armor mixed with gray.

Lumapit si Jade at tinitignan ang mga libro. "Who are you?" Jade asked.

Kusang tumigil ang mga libro sa paggalaw.

"Chosen ones! It's us! The Gods and Goddesses. The demons caged us here! Help us! Open the book!" From it's voice, Jade knew that it was Goddess Freya. She saw her once.

Nanlaki parehas ang mata nila ni Dylan.

Kaya ba wala sila? Because they were caged? Is this what the demigoddess is talking about?

Lumapit si Jade sa libro, nanginginig ang mga kamay niyang buksan iyon. And when they were able to open it, the chosen covered their faces when a light filled the whole hall.

Nang alisin nila ang kanilang mga kamay, they saw the seven Gods and Goddesses, finally free.

The seven smiled at them. "Thank you for opening the book. Now, the prophecy is starting. Save the whole Crestelia. We will help you as a thank you. Lalo na't dumagdag na ang mga kakampi ng mga kalaban. It will be a bloody war." Goddess Helga said.

Jade smiled. May laban na kami.
