This week was supposed to be a short week and I guess in a since it was but, I don't know, it felt really long. In the morning I got to the school and Shiloh was sitting on the handrail at the entrance waiting for me. She looked happy and such and was seeming to be having a wonderful day.

In the past few weeks Shiloh had been happier than ever before. People had also been nicer to her. Things just appeared to be looking up for her a little bit. Her hair was even going out a bit. It was at that part where it looked like every teenage boy's hair. She had the sides cut short but had a big curly mop of hair on top of her head. With her beanie it just gave her an edgy vibe. I tried telling her this and she laughed at me. I guess it was pretty funny.

I walked over to where Tanner, Trevor, Noah, Aria, and company were sitting. We occupied the corner of the courtyard where all the shade was. I sat on a picnic table with Shiloh and we began conversing with everyone.

"So, Shiloh, how is your head doing?" Tanner asked.

"It's doing well. I'm getting cleared to do gym tomorrow." Shiloh smiled at everyone.

"Hey congratulations." Trevor smiled up at her.

"I don't know why you want to go back to PE, it actually sucks." Aria rolled her eyes as she continued texting on her phone.

"Hey, maybe Shiloh likes PE, unlike you. People can have a different opinion, you know." Noah snapped at his girlfriend.

"Hey, hey. Why are you getting so defensive Noah? I was just saying that it was weird that she liked PE."

"You should be more nice to Shiloh."

"I am being nice. I let this freak even hang out with me."

All the other conversations stopped and everyone stared at Aria. Aria, knowing she had slipped up turned back to her phone, determined to pretend this never happened.

"More like Shiloh let you hang out with her. When have you ever made the effort to hang out with Shiloh?"

"I don't know why you are getting so mad."

"I don't know why you are refusing to be nice to Shiloh." Noah was picking a fight, I could tell.

"Well, if SHILOH is so great why don't you date her!" Aria began raising her voice.

"Maybe I will." Noah's voice was rising.

Everyone had been tuned out of their argument but now they had caught everyone's attention. Shiloh was looking at Noah, eager to find out where this conversation was going. I was looking at both Noah and Aria, it seemed like they had had this argument before but this was the first time I was hearing about it.

"HER?! She looks like a f****** boy!" Aria was enraged now.

Shiloh looked a little pissed.

"And why not Aria?!" Noah was continually matching her tone.

Shiloh was watching the two with wide eyes. I was equally shocked but for other reasons. Was Noah into Shiloh?

"How are you going to kiss her when she looks like a boy?" Aria sounded like she was on the brink of hysterical tears.

"Like this." Noah said as he pulled Shiloh's face towards his.

I watched everything happen in slow motion. Noah closed his eyes as he lightly touched his lips to hers and I softly heard Shiloh gasp in surprise. She hesitated for a split second but kissed him back. This was wrong. Noah hungrily kissed her until she stopped and was holding a hand against his chest. He slowed down and was still kissing her and Aria was standing in complete shock.
