I Sold my Soul to the Devil in Exchange for Math Lessons

Several weeks passed without many incidents. The only incidents seemed to be in Shiloh's Trig class. I discussed it with her several times and even though she said she was fine and would refuse to help me get into her math class I decided to go ahead and do it anyway because she deserved the world and I wasn't about to take that from her.

I asked around for anyone willing to tutor me, it was a bit of a struggle finding people because either they weren't smart enough to tutor me into this math class or they needed money to tutor me and that was something I didn't have. Shiloh knew about my family's financial struggles and had told me that any time I needed money I could ask her but I didn't want to have to take money from her. I would have to figure this one out on my own.

Eventually I found a girl who seemed perfect for the job. I was surprised I didn't find her earlier but she preferred to remain off everyone's radar. In fact the only reason I had known she existed was because I asked Shiloh about the people in her Honors Trigonometry class. This girl was so off everyone's radar that Shiloh almost forgot she existed because she would never talk in class. She would never stay for a second more than she had to and she has never been seen at any school events. The only reason Shiloh did know she existed was because she got nearly perfect grades in the class.

I tried asking around to know where she hung out in the morning but after 90% of everyone not knowing she existed I figured it was a fool's errand. I ended up just looking around the campus for her. Anyway it ended up working. While I was conditioning in the morning I spotted her in the bleachers. She wasn't watching us condition or anything but she was just reading in the stands.

After conditioning was over I walked over to the stands when I got stopped by the Cheerleaders.

"Excuse me ladies but I need to get by." I told them as I tried to walk around them.

"No, not right now Noah Carter."

"Why not?"

"You did something to Aria. You and your jerkoff of a best friend Noah."

"I hate to break it to you ladies but Aria did that to herself."

One of the cheerleaders scoffed at me. I broke away from them and walked off.

"You bastard! You can't talk to her like that." They yelled at me.

Oh how they should know. Aria should be the one to tell them but I'm pretty sure they'll find out soon when Mr Morris gets fired and arrested for molesting a minor.

I walked up the stairs of the bleachers and sat down next to a small girl reading a book. She looked like she couldn't have been more then 4'11. I tapped on the top of her book and she put it down next to her on the bleachers. She had dirty blonde hair that was frizzy and pulled back into a loose ponytail. She also had watered down grey eyes. She was sort of pretty in an odd way that would take you off guard.

"What do you want?" She asked.

There was a tone of aggression in her voice that put me on edge, although I don't know why because she was about as menacing as a kitten.

"Elie?"

I just wanted to make sure I had the right girl because to be honest, no one knew who Elie Ice was.

"I'm not going to set you up with Aria, so please leave me alone Noah Carter."

"Thank god, that's the last thing I would want right now, besides, I've already got a girl in mind." I smiled cheekily at her.

Elie looked up at me with an eyebrow raised. Then a look of recognition flashed in her eyes.

"Shiloh, right." Elie nodded at me and looked back at her book.
