after placing heavy furnitures in front of the door, we also succeeded closing the windows and anything that had contact with the outside. luckily an explosion faraway caused the infected people to approach it, leaving yukhei's mansion alone. it was lucky for us because yukhei's house was pretty hidden, a bit covered and possibly the monsters wouldn't notice it.

after all the shit, i turned around and saw yukhei entering his dad's office.

i was still completely appalled that i had to stand at the hallway by myself, staring and pulling myself together before walking in and joining yukhei.

he was simply opening a huge brief case that was placed on the desk, it was filled with weapons. such as knives, guns and more deadly things that was perfect for what was out there. it seemed like he already planned all of this because he knew it was going to happen, i felt guilty for not believing but it was quite understandable for me to ignore all his sayings.

"yukhei... out there... was it t-the virus?" i asked and was hoping for a no answer, but i knew i wouldn't receive that.

the tall boy looked at me and nodded, i could tell he was as scared as me, the fear swimming in his eyes made me quiver. who knew that it would happen exactly this day? who even expected that it would happen! it's so unbelievable to think about, just that starting this day everything will change.. but in a bad way. there won't be any tomorrow anymore, where everything was normal. there would be... chaos just like yukhei said.

"holy shit." i sighed and felt how my body weakened, i staggered and sat on the small shelve placed behind me.

"as i said, it's gonna happen and it's happening now. it's unbelievable right?" yukhei said, shaking his head and pushed away the brief case to talk to me first. maybe he could cool me down, maybe we could cool each other down.

"how do you know so much about the virus? also the fact that you've been talking about it since monday." i asked.

yukhei took a deep exhale and avoided eye contact with me. "um, my mother has a friend that owns the company PRIM where they do experiments and science. my parents often visits them and they would participate with working on this... formula. just like in the movies, the experiment became ugly and it's the virus. it got out quicker than they thought. i overheard their conversations and the virus was the only thing they were talking about, so they're blaming their selves because they participated in it." he explained.

"that's why it's also been worrying me." he said and i ambled my way to him, giving him an embrace that made his body loosen up.

"i'm sorry for not listening." i apologized and he accepted.

i couldn't stop thinking about my parents, what's happening to them now? even though they were in busan, i was still worried, the virus could easily get there just like yukhei said. what about my friends too? what's gonna happen tomorrow?

well, meeting taeyong in the bus as we planned was definitely not happening....
