after running for what almost felt like an eternity, we finally entered a huge familiar building. "hyung shut the fucking door!" silver haired boy screamed viciously even though he could clearly see that i haven't fully entered the building. what the fuck is wrong with this kid?

once i did, the boy who rescued me slammed the door. for some few seconds, we stood desperately gasping for air. "nice to see you catch up." he spoke with his clear and soft voice.

at that moment i didn't want to respond, i just wanted to breathe, so i smiled instead.

"i'm jungwoo by the way." he smiled, his bunny teeth popping out.

i wanted to introduce myself as well, but this kid had to ruin everything. 

"what the fuck hyung? why the fuck did you bring her to our hideout?" he balled his hands into clenched fists, his nose flaring once again and i just didn't get why he's so mad about a nice human being saving another nice human being!

"donghyuck, calm down." jungwoo frowned, i could tell that even he's slightly frightened at this young boy. 

"she almost died, have a bit of respect-"

"no you have some respect for the rules." donghyuck paused and fiercely shot me the deadliest glare. "just wait till hyung sees this, she'll be dinner for the walkers." he turned his heel and commenced to walk away from us.

me and jungwoo stood in silence, awkwardly... especially for me. i don't like this donghyuck dude already, he's kinda fucking annoying. but it's quite understandable, i wouldn't trust someone either, especially during this apocalypse... but i honestly wouldn't be that bitchy like him.

"sorry he can be very mean sometimes." jungwoo apologized, scratching his neck and smiling shyly.

he began to walk and i cluelessly followed. "no need to, i kinda understand donghyuck. i won't trust anyone that easily too." i explained to him, observing our surroundings because it felt oddly familiar. 

something about this place was super weird... quite familiar as i already said.

"it's also not just because of that, he has a specific hatred towards something... and you have that something. but i bet some of the others wouldn't mind having you here, because i don't think they would care anymore... especially because they are kind-hearted unlike donghyuck." jungwoo cutely rolled his eyes after mentioning donghyuck's name.

i was too spaced out that i didn't listen to what he said. "i'm sorry jungwoo but can you tell me where we are?"

"we're in sopa."

at that moment i could feel how my heart dropped down a pitless hole, i could already feel my whole body shook, my hands, fingers, legs and lips... i was dreadfully shaking that even jungwoo noticed.

"woah are you okay?" he held my hand, his soft skin touching my shaking one kinda helped my body to relax. "i know, it's scary right?" he gave me a half smile and rubbed my back. "don't worry, as i said... i think the others wouldn't mind."

i blinked and looked up at his large eyes. "there are others?" i gulped... fuck, i'm screwed.

"yes, but it's okay i'll be by your side." he acclaimed and i couldn't help but melt. he's sweet, so pure and kind! fuck, my heart.

i'm pretty sure those others would attack me, can you even picture a sopa and dwight student being friends? no, hell no! it was possible back then, but after the drama... never. i'm just an innocent girl who wants to be safe, let's hope the others aren't like donghyuck.

"hey.. i forgot to thank you for saving me back there." i said and ambled faster beside him, the steps he was taking were twice bigger than mine. "thank you.... really."

jungwoo grinned as his cheeks turned red, blooming like a crimson rose, so smooth and cute against his cheek. "you're welcome~"

"i'm really tired of seeing people die right in front of my eyes, knowing that they could've lived if i helped." jungwoo's lips pouted as he averted his eyes away from mine, ashamed. "why didn't you just help them then?" i asked.

"it's quite a long story. the first time i ever tried rescuing someone, it went chaos that's why hyung made a new rule about not letting others in our hideout... never help others and keep your focus on yourself." jungwoo explained. i never felt so lucky in my life, after all these time he has actually been avoiding to help others but decided to help me... he indeed has a heart inside him.

"who is this hyung?" i curiously asked, i already had a thought who it would be. "he's the leader in here." jungwoo responded.

i knew it... a leader, bet he's overly dominant.

jungwoo stopped his tracks, he stood in front of a door as his palm rested on the doorknob. behind those doors i could hear inaudible voices... it was obviously the others. "don't worry, i'll try my best to defend you soyoung." he weakly smiled before twisting the doorknob open.

i paused, completely frozen. how did he know my name?
