soyoung

stairs, ahh i hate them so fucking much but luckily i finally reached the top of the stairs to gasp for air. i felt the relief spreading throughout my body, finally stepping in the rooftop. but suddenly felt another human being's body bumping into mine, both of us bouncing backwards as it took a brief second for us to pull ourselves together again and apologize... just until we saw each other.

"oh..." she paused, watching her with the grimace expression that she sent me.

her beautiful shiny blonde hair flowed down her shoulders, the eyes she had was one of the most majestic ones ever, yet there were no softness or pureness but only hatred and evil. she could've turned into that, that girl every men wanted. i mean like look at her, she's so beautiful, her eyes shines like the stars, her lips as red as rose and as plump as a bratz doll's lips, skin as glossy and clear as glass.... but her personality, as ugly as those walkers.

she could've been every men's dream girl, but she always had that attitude no one never wanted, unless men were alike her.

"you're here to see taeyong?" she queried, raising an eyebrow and commenced to to button up her uniform shirt. "well, you're on the right timing... he was unavailable earlier." she smirked after walking past me.

what's with her?

i managed to shake off my thoughts and enter the rooftop, maybe a bit too desperate to see taeyong even though i woke up around his arms this morning. HJHJHSJHJK, oh gosh thinking about that makes my heart instantly stop!

as i was walking towards him with a smile, i noticed his fingers tracing down his white long sleeve buttoned up shirt. just like somin earlier, he was buttoning his uniform up.

no, don't get those thoughts... soyoung don't.

they didn't do something, never will taeyong approve it... right?

"ohh soyoung!" taeyong exclaimed after noticing my presence, like a flash with a blink from my eyes, his shirt was already fixed. he had a very apprehensive look on his face, as if he was worried about something... maybe after something happened between him and somin. "yeah... um back there." i slightly shook my head, raising an eyebrow and pointing my thumbnail on the exit of the rooftop.

"no, soyoung!" he cut my words off, instantly approaching me and firmly squeezing my hands. "nothing happened, i swear it was nothing at all. somin tried but i just refused!" he assured frantically, his worry was overflowing that it made it look like he was lying.

was he lying?

"do you believe me?" he whispered, pursing his lips and impatiently waiting for me to say the words: yes, i believe you. but i was hesitating....

i shouldn't, why would i fall for somin's trap? that's just who somin is, a fucking annoying ass bitch who tries to ruin everyone's life. why would i even trust somin more, more than taeyong? gosh, how stupid and foolish of me.

"of course i believe you, i won't let somin on our way." i said and saw the satisfaction on his face appear. a brief seconds of us staring into each other's eyes before he pulled my head closer to his face, his lips pressing against my forehead as he finally locked me around his comforting arms.

"have someone noticed?" he questioned.

i smiled. "mark, jungwoo and yuta did.... then i don't know about the others."

i came all the way up here to have a peaceful moment with taeyong, to talk with him about my problems and worry because i knew they will gradually disappear but it's not going to happen.

before any of us could speak, we heard a squelch coming from the walkie talkie taeyong had inside his pocket jeans. it was necessary since someone was trying to have contact with him, so we didn't have any other choice but to pull away from each other.

taeyong and i blinked in confusion, after hearing it come out with endless squelches as if they were getting cut each and every second.

taeyong placed his lips on top of the microphone. "hello?" he briefly said, before releasing the PTT button.

"hyung-" he got cut off. " h.... hyung!" he got cut off just again, i could tell the pure in their voice which was clear enough to hear that it was.... mark lee. he sounded so strained.

taeyong furrowed his eyebrows, looking at me as we exchanged each other a baffled look.

"yah mark lee, why do you have doyoung's walkie talkie?" taeyong sighed with his teeth gritted.

"hyung! i'm sorry, but... uhh... ahh i need to use doyoung's walkie talkie right now!" he sounded so breathless, as if something was wrong... and something was wrong after we heard someone scream in the background along with petrifying growls. "yah! what's going on down there?!" taeyong spoke with his voice increasing impatiently.

"what's with the noise?!" the more mark could hear taeyong's vexation expanding, the more he had difficulties to speak.

"hyung, you see... i-"

"yah mark lee speak faster would you?"

"ey! ah, give the walkie talkie back!" it seemed like someone stole it from him.

"hyung, we need you down here in the field right fucking now." i could tell it was donghyuck just by that attitude and tone, but he seemed so desperate that he even cut of taeyong with a "no explanation", when he tried to question why.

"that fucking kid, i swear." he muttered before leaning down the iron barrier to check out the field. his eyes enlarged, terror bursting out his dilated eyes as he turned around and ran past me. "soyoung, we need to go down now!"

i watched him exit the rooftop like a lightning and decided to see for myself what he saw earlier, what it was to make him look so trepidation and alarmed. i felt my heart stop after seeing swarm of walkers on the field, approaching the main entrance of sopa but luckily the others were there to shield and push them away.

"fuck..." i gasped and sprinted out.
