soyoung
"woah woah, babe soyoung-ah chill down." after wriggling to escape from hyunjin's lift, he could at long last place me down and remain me seated inside an extremely woody room which i could tell that it used to be the principal's office. here i sat, unequivocally in the center of the room with my eyes concentrating on hyunjin's, observing each movement he had done.
hyunjin scrabbled off all the things on the desk, pushing them down the floor before sitting with his legs spreading broadly. he connected both his elbows on his knees and pulled out a cigarette, clamping the tip of it between his lips and litting it up with a lighter. when the smoke streamed throughout the room, he gazed toward me with a grin. "want?" he questioned.
"no." i briefly replied and eyed the door.
hyunjin saw my secret plan of getting away, so he ensured it wouldn't occur by pointing a gun at me.
i jeered. "what are you going to do, shoot me?" hyunjin sat idle, did nothing but grin, i didn't understand why people would succumb to those "i will shoot you if you do anything funny", it isn't compromising at all when i obviously know they won't pull the trigger. "stop it hyunjin, i won't buy that."
"i don't hesitate to pull the trigger." he clarified. "much the same as i did with yukhei and somin, so don't try anything soyoung... i won't kill you, i'll just shoot you."
i could see the fulfillment drawn all over him once he saw that i felt undermined, and yes now i did. realizing that hyunjin doesn't hesitate at all, just like he mentioned when he did it to somin and yukhei, i felt weak and tired, so hopeless to not even think of another plan but just sit and frown while waiting for someone to save me.
"you know sopa is here, two schools are against you and i think you should tell that to chan. what i just want is peace, we can work this out without violence." i watched hyunjin endlessly exhale smoke out, gradually soaring around the air. "i know we are only 9, but we have strong and powerful troops." he smirked.
"stop talking and continue this chit chat with chan, he should be here soon.... just let me smoke and stare at your face peacefully. okay?" he tilted his head, lip corners lifting up into a smile.
i didn't answer and rolled my eyes, facing away so he wouldn't be able to look at me.
he was staring, just staring at me with a cigarette between his lips. stop staring, please stop staring. his lips, secretly and gradually smiling as it become wider and wider and wider.
"where is chan?" i spoke out, my voice increasing so he would slightly wince and unfocus his eyes on mine.
"here." none of us had noticed chan entering into the room, which clarified why we both got vaguely startled. we pivoted to look at chan, calmly clearing off the blood stained on his dagger on his arm, dark red fluid recoloring on his white long sleeve shirt and finally tucking the blade down his pocket. "you may go now hyunjin, ensure that nobody comes in this room."
"okay." hyunjin briefly replied, jumping off his seat and moving his way out of the room, not forgetting to send me a small smile. "see you soon babe~"
"fucker." i mumbled as soon as hyunjin left. "i heard that!" he said on the other side of the door, i stayed unbothered and let my eyes roll upwards.
chan let out a delicate laugh, grabbing onto one of the chair nearby and hauling it to put it forward mine. "sorry about hyunjin, he appears to be somewhat diverted by your appearance." he apologized, sitting down and taking a gander at me. the position we had was odd, it was as if i was going to have a job interview. "hyunjin stated earlier that he finds you exceptionally appealing, also because you're tough and daring."
