soyoung

"day 5 during the apocalypse, we have no food left since me and soyoung are big eaters! we're still in my house, my parents are no where to be found and they're possibly dead. zombies are still out there, waiting for their target that could be us... that's the reason why we decide not to leave." yukhei adjusted the camera in front of him.

i couldn't help but roll my eyes, who seriously have the guts to do that during the apocalypse? no offense but it's stupid.

"why are you making a documentary? it's stupid." i hissed making yukhei pout like a baby. on second thought, it was actually a good way to decrease your anxiety. "i'm joking yukhei, do your thing." i leaned in to ruffle his hair, he smiled slightly and continued talking to the camera.

i walked back to the kitchen and opened the fridge. i have been doing this everyday, it was probably the 10th time now. i open as if food would magically appear, but no, it was completely empty with rotten food that wouldn't be edible to eat anymore.

me and yukhei haven't eaten yet and it's 6 pm, we ate all of them for the past 7 days. we tried to make it last longer, but the more we eat, the more it would force us not to stop. it's habit me and yukhei do, ever since we became friends. we eat even though we're full, we just shove food and swallow it.

"there's no more food as you can see." yukhei appeared out of the blue, he stood by me with the camera as i recoiled. "jesus christ xuxi." i exhaled and placed my hand on my chest.

yukhei grinned widely and stared at me dreamily. "i love it when you call me xuxi." he explained with red cheeks, at this point i couldn't help but chuckle at his cuteness. i'm glad i'm stuck with him, he would never fails to make me smile and laugh... luckily he isn't boring to be with.

"are you hungry?" he asked making me huff. "yo is that even a question?"

yukhei frowned and turned off the camera, placing it on the counter table. "i'm sorry, i'll try finding for more food okay?" he said with a weak smile and turned around but i stopped him.

"yukhei don't be sorry? it's okay, it's not your fault there's no food. don't worry just relax," i paused and turned around, turning on the faucet and filling a glass with water. "and stay hydrated." i offered him the drink.

he smiled gleefully and took it, slurping the liquid down as i left and went to the living room.

i felt so weak and dizzy, i knew exactly why and sadly there was no solution for it. starving so much gave me headaches, i couldn't help but groan out of pain and bury my face on my palms. i sat on the couch, laying myself on the soft mattress while puckering my face together. black spots came in, everything got all grainy, sounds sounded like they are from really far away. this was where i dozed off and fell into a deep and long sleep.

i woke up after collapsing, i was still in the living room with the same painful headache. i could feel a warm hand cupping my cheek, it was the reason why i woke up.

as my eyes opened, i still saw dark spots, but i also saw yukhei.

he sat on the edge of the couch, a worried expression on his face as he wore a leather jacket. he had a gun on the other side of his hand, and all i could do was furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"yukhei? why're you all dressed up, are you going somewhere or-"

he hushed me and stood up, hiding the bat behind his back. "i'm not going anywhere, i just uh... have to dress up for the documentary." he shrugged his shoulders and awkwardly laughed.

carefully, he grabbed my hand and put on his silver bracelet around my own wrist. it was his cartier trinity bracelet. "if you ever feel scared, touch this and you'll feel my presence..." he smiled making me blink.

"we gotta fight man!" he jokingly chuckled, making me roll my eyes.

i huffed and turned around on the other side, burying my face down the pillow and continued sleeping since i still had an awful headache stuck in me.
