soyoung
"you seem off soyoung?" taeyong said, slowing his pace so he could catch up with me as he left doyoung and mark at the front. since jaehyun couldn't participate, mark had willingly took over jaehyun's position for now. honestly i think it's a good idea, so he can maybe practice his skills more and being more serious... but at the same time, i like the bubbly and funny mark. "hello~? you're spacing out again." taeyong's words finally snapped me out of my thoughts.
shutting my eyes tightly and opening them again, i see taeyong with his normal apprehensive look every time i felt off.
"oh, it's just nothing i still can't get over what happened yesterday." i lied with a weak smile, taeyong giving one back but in disappointment. "so i probably did a bad job to cheer you up?"
"no~ don't say that taeyong, you always do but that doesn't mean it's your fault. please don't say that, you're gonna make me sad." i pouted making taeyong giggle, he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to peck my forehead. i felt the urge of laughing with as i nuzzled closer to him, hearing taeyong's laugh disappear cause me to stop as well and look up.
"what?" he sternly spat on a staring doyoung in front of us.
"ahhh!" mark paused after following doyoung's gaze which was on us. "privacy jiguem!" he exclaimed while pointing at us and forcefully twisted doyoung's head so it would face forward, his hyung scoffed and stepped away from him in annoyance.
(honestly idk what mark said, but you know when he said privacy jiguem? lmaoo)
after watching the two boys fool around, doyoung being completely done with mark but it didn't stop the youngest to tease and annoy him.
i heard a sharp sigh coming from taeyong's mouth. "i swear i don't know what's wrong with that dude, he's always staring and judging." he grumbled like a small kid and i remained quiet, since he was mentioning doyoung that scene in the class began to appear in my mind again. gosh.... what was he thinking? what was i thinking, for not pushing back?
after taeyong had noticed the silent treatment i gave him, he finally spit it out.
"okay back there in the classroom, did i really missed nothing?" he cocked an eyebrow, giving me a challenging look as i nervously felt a lump stuck in my throat. now i felt even more apprehensive, and if did it was obvious that he really did miss something.
"you missed nothing taeyong." i explained, trying my best to sound like i wasn't lying but he could clearly hear it. "come on, spit it out soyoung. did doyoung do anything? i will fucking punch him if he did-" his words were harsh and i immediately shook my head, rough and aggressive.
"no taeyong he did nothing, okay?!" the tone that i increased caused him to pause and blink, the slight annoyance heard from my tone didn't amuse him at all but it didn't pissed him of as well... he was just surprised since i could have answered in a calmer way, and with that tone i was sure he was now suspecting that he did miss something. "okay then." he replied briefly with a very small smile, unwrapping his arm around me and instead letting his fingers intertwined with mine.
the reason why it's best to refuse is i don't want taeyong coming up to doyoung's face and possibly start a fight after misunderstanding what happened, i just don't really like seeing those two specifically get infuriated and specially at each other... if they do so, the world would be ending. now i'm quite worried that they would once again argue in a severe and harsh way, i can't stop that and so can't mark... the only person who can is jaehyun and he is not even here. he's the only person who i can come to when those two bicker endlessly. i feel like mark would be as worried as i am.
