soyoung

it was taeyong all along, the one from the forest by the river.

after i had realized who he was, i immediately left the rooftop. the steady pound of my footsteps echoed into my ears, i felt a bead of sweat roll down my forehead and splatter to my chin. the soles of my shoes hitting the hallway floor, making blare echoes and i was bewildered if everyone was asleep already.

possibly they were, i walked passed the main classroom and it was empty.

before opening the door, i took a deep inhale then exhaling shakingly. unexpectedly someone already had opened the door from the otherside, it could be taeyong because it was the most possible thought but i never expected to see somin at all. once our eyes connected, i noticed her upset expression as if something bad had happen. she briskly hung her face down and buttoned up her shirt before leaving, storming away and leading herself to her room... i suppose.

what was she doing in taeyong's room?

i shrugged off my thoughts and entered the room, closing it behind my back and scanning the dark surroundings. since it was so gloomy, i didn't even realize taeyong sitting on a chair at the far end of the room, facing the other way as shadows poured down his whole body. has he noticed my presence?

"taeyong... did something happen with somin?"

"she was just upset, trust me...." he paused and turned around. "nothing happened between the two of us." he assured and continued playing with the loaded gun he had around his fingers, both his elbows resting on his knees.

took me a little while to realize that taeyong was completely shirtless. the shadows reflecting on his torso was quite breathtaking enough to make me suck the air sharply, my eyes fluttering as i uncontrollably blushed madly. he wasn't the buffest, if you compare him to johnny but even though he was like that it suited him better. so tell me, did something really not happen between him and somin?

"did something happen?" he inquired and looked up at me, smiling teasingly after realizing how i was feeling with his presence. "what made you come here?"

"i uh... um." i stuttered. taeyong noticing my flaming face made him smirk and i had to attempt to pull myself together, it was overly difficult when he was looking like that! couldn't he take his shirt on? "i.... know who you are taeyong." i paused and dragged a chair to place it forward him, but a few meters away from his then obviously taking the seat.

"you're the boy i met in the woods by the river."

my words caused taeyong to gradually smile, he placed the gun on the desk and put all his fully attention on me. "oh, so you've figured it out soyoung." he spoke with satisfaction overflowing his tone. "i know, it was pretty much difficult to recognize who i am with my red hair and that name i made up... taeyang. i wanted to keep myself unknown since you stepped into a very serious scene, you know soyoung?"

"yeah, i know." i gave a brief answer.

"i never really wanted to you meet you in that way, but i'm just grateful you were there. i was so close to do it, but then you showed up. at first i was so pissed that someone was ruining the moment, but when you spoke out those words it made me realize a lot of things, as in insanely a lot." taeyong pursed his lips and stood up from his seat, still with no shirt. "when you convinced me to not pull the trigger, i felt grateful you were there to save me. see? that's why you play such a big role in my life, couldn't been here without you and wouldn't be here without."

taeyong walked up and looked out of the window, a weak smile on his soft lips. "i thought i would never see you after you left.... after successfully preventing me from doing it, that thought scared me a lot because i wouldn't be able to thank you..." he let our eyes connect. "now i'm so happy you're here, and thank you~"
