Chapter Twenty-Eight

Maya PoV

"Friar fucking answer me!" I yelled, where the hell is he

I held my breath and tried to look under the water "Shit I can't see anything" I felt so panicked

I didn't want to get out of the water incase of the worse case scenario, he hit his head on the way down and if I leave I might not be able to find him

I hope I'm just overreacting I can't loose anyone else that I care about.

The water started to get more dangerous and the waves were getting bigger, I really need to find him

"LUC-" as I was shouting his name a wave of water hit and and I was threw under the water again

I was frantically trying to stay above the waves and not drown, but that isn't even my biggest worry. I need to find Lucas

I won't be any help if I end up drowning, I started swimming around the cliff and back towards the shore

I almost reached the shore when a wave knocked me under and just as I would reach the surface spluttering for breath I would be hit under the water again it almost felt like somebody was pulling me down and keeping me under

Lucas PoV

I felt myself being dragged away from the water I tried to kick out of whoever's grasp was holding me but I couldn't

They pulled me onto the beach and just made me stand there and listen to Maya scream my name

It was like torture, the worry she must be feeling. This jackass is going to pay

Everything suddenly went silent, I screamed for Maya but I had a hand over my mouth so it was just muffled

I could slightly spot her, thankfully she's okay she's swimming to shore

I had I think two people holding me back, but they're behind me so I can't see who it is

I saw Maya struggling to stay up in the water, I'm going to kill whoever is stopping me from helping her

I let my anger take over and somehow managed to get out of their grasp, I immediately punched them in the face but two against one is a hard fight to win

I was kicked by the group and punched in the face, none of that mattered to me

I got back up and just started hitting them again and again, they were both about to hit me when somebody in the distance shouted something and they turned away

I didn't wait for them to go, as soon as I could I ran as fast as possible to the water and dived in

Maya PoV

This is it. The end.

I didn't think is how I would die, I thought they'd find me or maybe against all odds I'd live a long life

I stopped trying, there's nobody around. I have no idea where Lucas is

I don't have the energy to fight anymore.. I let myself fall into the darkness of the water
