Chapter Thirty-Four

Jay PoV - Flashback

Please to god if there is one, let Maya be okay let her get out of this place

Markus came up to me as I was 'training' really I'm just trying to hold up my cover and act like I didn't just pull the alarms and smash a few things to get the guards away from the doors

He lead me into one interrogation room we had and told me to take a seat, to avoid suspicion I did as he said

I just hope Maya has got out of this, all I need to do is keep her secret and just say I know nothing and as far as I know she out on a supply run

"So Woods, where's Hunter?" I shrugged and leaned back in the seat

"Last I heard she was heading out on a supply run" I kept to the story if they knew what really happened they wouldn't stop hunting her

I can't have them hurting her

"That's funny, you want to know why that's funny Woods?" I didn't say anything so he slammed his hand onto the table and gave me a deathly glare not breaking his gaze

"That's real funny because she's sitting in this room right behind me" She can't be she had to of got away, if she didn't then it's over we failed

"Don't believe me?" He spoke through a phone that was on speaker on the table

"Miss Hunter are you there"  He asked and I heard muffled screams through the phone

My jaw clenched and I tightened my fists "Sorry I didn't quite get that" Markus said through the phone again

I heard her whimper and she screamed again but this time it wasn't muffled, the phone didn't need to be on speaker I could hear her through the wall

Son of a bitch!

This is killing me "Fuck You" Maya snarled through the phone out of breath, I heard a crash and Maya groaned and then everything went quiet

They better not hurt her again or I'm going to fucking kill them all!

Markus looked up from the phone and at me, I relaxed my fists to try and seem less angry I need to keep them thinking I'm on their side if I'm getting her out of this

He made me follow him into another room I haven't been in before but I knew it was another interrogation room

When we got inside I looked through the one sided glass and saw Maya tied up to a chair unconscious, they got her.

I don't know how long she's been in there but she looks pretty beat up already, I should of gone with her. It would of been more of a risk but at least I could of done more to help

"Ace" I whispered under my breath my voice full of worry

"So little Hunter tried to escape she killed one of my guys in her attempt, you wouldn't know anything about that would you?" I shrugged and kept a plain expression on my face

Shit. I killed that guy he saw me he would of blown our cover I had no over choice.

"Not at all, Hunter is dead to me" I leaned against the desk that was in the room,

How was I going to get her out of this alive?

"Great then you won't mind watching us get information out of her?" I shook my head and Markus clicked a button and talked to the people in the other side of the glass

"Carry on" what a sick freak, I'm going to make him pay for this

I had to look through the glass at her or he'd know something was wrong but I was just looking at the wall I couldn't bare to look at her like this
