"Hey Simon! I brought everyone down here. Could you, perhaps, show us where the D-Team is?" I asked, Simon who had appeared a few seconds after we had shown up.

"Of course Miss Light. Right this way everyone." He gestured his arm to his left before walking in that direction. We follow suite as he leads us into what looks like a large conference room. A large orange table, a very bright color that contrasts the white of the room, with about 30 chairs, enough for all of the D-Team plus us.

"Who's that guy by the way?" Potato asked me as we sat down at the table.

"Simon. He's a robot assistant. My robot assistant apparently, an odd surprise the moment you wake up 7 years older." I said, folding my hands in my lap and giving her an amused smile.

She gave a hearty laugh, "This is going to be fun!"

"Alright, let's get to the presentation. First, we are the D-Team. We're a group of kids and their family members, their robot maid, their robot assistant, and their enemies turned friends." Dr. Ancient said, before HC raised her hands and he signals for her to speak.

"So, should we be taking notes?" She asks raising a notepad and pen in her hands.

"No, though the enthusiasm is greatly appreciated," Dr. Ancient gave her a slight smile before continuing, "Our main group, Max, Rex, Zoe, Ursula, Ed, and Zander all use dinosaurs to complete their missions. They do this by using ancient stone tablet that harness the energy of the elements of the Earth to transform dinosaurs from cards into real life beings. The elements are lightning, fire, grass, earth, water, and wind. These elemental tablets awaken dinosaurs associated with the element. Now, these are the original stones. However, we were able to copy these tablets in a way-"He was stopped by me this time.

"Everytime you copy the stones, they always blew up in your face. What makes this one any different?" I clenched my fists.

"Well, this time we went for a different approach, and we did test them out already. They function virtually the same-"

"I got my own dinosaur!" Dr. Talyor burst out raising his arm that had his dino bracer. Dr. Ancient sent him a glare and he quickly sat back down.

"As I was saying, we've tested it out and these stones are virtually the same as the real ones. They work the same as well, both with and without the dino bracer. So, before we get any further. Allow our current team to get you guys started as part of the team." Dr. Ancient gestured towards Max before sitting down.

Max stood up, "Alright, follow me!" He points into the air as he shoves his chair away. We all stand up and follow him as he leads us out of the conference room into yet another lab room. This one is darker and seems to hold a lot of electrical power as there are luminescent lights in most of the equipment. Ones that would be seen in the generator room of the Backlander. We stopped in front of a display that had a collection of dino bracers and stone tablet copies along with dinosaur cards.

"First, you guys should choose which element you want to work in. Lightning controls ceratopsians like Triceratops. Wind controls carnivores that are known for their speed such as Carnotaurus. Grass controls hadrosaurs and occasionally ornithomimids. Fire controls more brutus and strong carnivores like Tyrannosaurus Rex. Water controls sauropods like Amargasaurus and spinosaurids like Spinosaurus. Earth controls ankylosaurids and stegosaurids like Ankylosaurus and Stegosaurus. Secret is a confusing element. Any of the real stone tablets will work this Secret dinosaurs, however the copies have a Secret stone tablet. Secret dinosaurs are really any dinosaurs that don't really fit into the categories from before. What will you pick? We have all the dinosaurs and their elemental stones laid out in labeled categories." Zoe explained.

We all picked out our dinosaurs and our dino bracers. Jelly picked out an Ichyovenator and named her Trout. Ichyovenator is a Water element dinosaur so Jelly went with the water stone copy. HC picked the Secret element and chose a Anchiornis named Mint-Pear. Potato chose the Water element and chose a Camarasaurus named Cam. Naomi chose the Water element as well, she chose a Shunosaurus named Aqua. Guava chose the wind element and a Velociraptor named Velocity. Artstor chose the Earth element and a Talarurus named Halloween. Ocean chose an Amargasaurus and named it Coral, she chose the Water element. Sugar chose a Brachylophosaurus named Gerry, she picked the Grass element. Ally chose a Yangchunasaurus named Sans which means she got the fire element. Tootsie chose a Zuniceratops and named it Snippy JR(An inside joke between us) while Boba chose a Brachyceratops named Thunder. Both Tootsie and Boba got the Lightning element. I ,of course, choose the Wind element and a Majungasaurus. The moment we all called out dinosaurs into chibi form, everyone else seemed to connect immediately to their new partners. I ,however, had a different experience. The moment my new Majungasaurus friend saw me, he regarded me with aloofness and contempt. I don't know what I did wrong. Everyone else seems perfectly content. Was it just me who was having problems? My inner anxieties consumed me, it felt like something was wrong with me. My dino partner wouldn't even let me name him so I had to settle with a shorting of his name, I called him Majung.

"Hey, Majung." He looked at me, tossing his head aggressively, and growled.

"Hey, Dark! How's it going over there?" Max called out to me.

"Everythings going well!"

"Cool because we're going to go over training and bonding soon!" Max said giving me a thumbs up.

"Great," I said weakly as I look into Majung's cold eyes.

"What did I do wrong?" I thought quietly to myself.
