Quick recap. So whatever is inside of me, apparently can boot me out of control of my own body. Along with offering annoying ass commentary. Which it did, both I mean, and it absolutely demolished training bots me and Majung were training with. Then, Simon walked in, turned the bots off and now we're walking towards the teleport that brings us to my basement.

"Miss Light, if I may ask, why were you training with the bots in threat mode?" Simon asks, not turning to me. He's got a weird robot way of expressing concern.

"I didn't actually know I put it on threat mode. When I realized all I could do was fight my way to the control panel." I lie and hope that it throws him off my track.

He nods and continues to walk towards the teleporter. I don't think he believes me but then again, I can't really tell with him. Majung and I teleport up to my basement and run up the stairs, our stomachs grumpling. When we get to the kitchen, everyone's serving themselves.

"Hey! We made jam, toast, eggs, and pancakes for breakfast. We've also got some fruit and bacon if you want." Jelly calls as she sets down a plate of freshly baked pancakes on the kitchen island.

"Bacon?!" I say with a crazed, animalistic look in my eyes. I love bacon!

She laughs and gestures to it with a nod of her head. Majung walks over to his food bowl to eat and I help myself to the breakfast Guava and Jelly prepared. We all devour our food like we're beasts and we start to talk.

"Where did you guys go?" Guava asks

"Training, decided to knock it out now instead of later." I say, munching down on a strawberry.

"Any news from the D-Team?"

"Nah, just the usual. Keeping tabs on the Space Pirates."

"We really ought to get out there and start liberating people. Have you seen how they treat everyone? Constant monitoring, curfews, strict punishment, they're a fucking dictatorship!" Ally said with her brows furrowed as she stabbed a pancake with her fork.

"Yeah we should talk to them about taking action. I think we've trained enough to know what we're up against. Besides we're only gonna get better if we fight the real thing.' Artsy comments.

"We'll all go there during team training time, how about that?" I ask, and they all agree.

"Hey Guava, can you pass the raspberries?" Naomi asks.

'Sure," Guava picks up the bowl of raspberries, "Hold up, there's only one left. I'll get some more from the fridge." She walks towards the fridge, opening  it, and scouring through it. She closes it with a dissatisfied grunt. "We're really low on food. We all emptied out our parents bank accounts, right?"

There's a resounding 'yes' and I raise another question, "So how are we going to get food? We can't be seen outside, we're supposed to be 'missing' and what if identification is needed for purchasing anything."

"Maybe, it might be best if we talk to the D-Team now." HC chimed and that's what we did. We all cleaned up and ventured down to their lab. We walked down the corridors til we found Johnathan, who we ask to call a meeting for us. Once everyone was gathered, we expressed our concerns with the D-Team.

"Well, the food is definitely a problem. We have looked into it and it seems that there are a few stores that don't need identification. The closest one is an hour away, I will advise you to lay as low as you can." Dr. Taylor said, "Perhaps put up the hood of your jacket up to master that mysterious vibe."

"So now that that was solved, in a way. What about the Space Pirates?" Boba asked.

"I'm still unable to hack through their systems which is the only way we can get information on where they are keeping the Cosmo Stones. I believe the only way to get said information is to steal it physically." reese said as she continued to type on her laptop, her glasses glowing in the darkness.

"You're suggesting we send out teams to infiltrate their headquarters?" Ms. Ancient inquires.

"Yes, I recommend their closest and smallest headquarters. The one in Newark, New Jersey." Reese response.

"Oh yeah, I've been researching that one. It has low level security and neither Gavro, Sheer, or Foolscap are there either. It would be a quick in and out mission plus they would probably have enough intel for us to launch another mission later." Rod said, waving his pointer finger in the air as he spoke.

"What would be our plan to do this?" Dr. Ancient asked.

"If I may," Seth picked up a red marker and walked over to the whiteboard, "this is the Space Pirates' hq." He drew a rectangular prism for the HQ. "This circle are the teams we position around it." He drew circles at various spots around the rectangular prism. "We could try to first short circuit the security systems, leaving most likely 20 minutes for the teams to make their way in, get the data, and get out. However, if we can't disable the security systems remotely then the teams will have to fight through the droids and disable it manually from inside. Rod, I suggest you go with one of the teams to try and disable the security systems."

"Hold up, I don't know if I can do that. They're systems are so complex even for our time period." Rod protested.

"You're a very talented and intelligent person. You'll be able to do it." Seth said and Rod nodded happily at the compliment. When we did a poll on whether we would go with Seth's plan, we all answered yes and we went with Seth's plan. We all knew the next few days would be full of intense training and mission briefing so that we'd ace the break in. I had a little bit of a nervous churning in my stomach, I didn't know if me and Majung would be able to handle it. Majung seemed to hate my guts and I couldn't understand why. I also don't think it'd change after just one mission. I'm also worried about the voice inside my head, if it was able to take control of me so easily, what stopped it from doing that on the mission. And I wasn't completely sure of the voice's alliances. It all left me wondering whether this mission was a good idea and I couldn't shake off the dreadfully feeling in my stomach.
