After two hours of resting, we decided to head to the training room. We walked through the halls for about 5 minutes before realizing that we had no idea where we were going.

"Why are we this stupid?" I asked Majung as we kept wandering the halls.

"I think we just stopped functioning during that time on the Outlander."

"What are you two doing?" Clint Barton approached us from behind in a pale green sleeveless shirt and black athletic shorts. He still had his pensive glare from when I saw him on the battlefield. Perhaps that's just how he was.

"Searching for the training room," I paused briefly and scratched my head, "Well trying to at least."

He gave a gruff sign and motions for us to follow him, I tried to memorize the twists and turns. After about 5 minutes we reached a door that had edges that would light up blue when it opened. When walking in the room had a grey floor with white panelled walls with lights embedded in the gap between panels. It was quite large but didn't seem to have any training features like dummies or workout equipment. However, the rest of the Avengers were there so I assume that they had something planned.

"I see you decided to make it." Sarcasm dripped from Stark's words.

"Not my fault you made these hallways like a maze. Anyway what are we doing?"

"Grab a partner, you'll be sparring against each other."

"Oh no." A statement Majung seconded right after I made it. Stark and Rogers paired together, Thor and Hulk paired together, and Barton and Natasha paired together. Which left me and Loki to pair together. He stepped next to me and smirked.

"Don't do that." I give him a hard stare.

"Don't do what?" His smirk expands.

    "The damn smirking, it's annoying."

"You're just defensive because you know you'll lose."

    "OH now it's PERSONAL!"

The room suddenly closed in around us, or rather walls were put up to separate the dous. Without hesitation, I formed a knife and locked eyes with Loki who, to his credit, was already lunging to attack. My pupils dilated and out of instinct I dodged to the left.

    "Really? Right off the bat?"

"It's not like you weren't thinking about it too." He started to circle me like a lion, unfortunately for him. I understood this tactic, I gave physical cues that I was nervous so that I would lure him in. Twitching my nose, having my hands shake slightly, and having my eyes dart as I followed his movements. He circled a few more times before launching an attack at me from behind. I whipped around and-

"Shield!" Miraculously that worked. I pushed the shield forward as it caught Loki and the momentum threw him to the ground. I lunged towards him and pinned him to the ground.

"I win." My shit-eating smile widened.
