Dark looked up wordlessly at Sheer, her stare was blank and dead. It made Sheer shiver.
"Dark, I'm gonna help you get out of here. Your friends are coming soon and I need to take you to the training room in a few days, okay. They'll get you there." Sheer grabbed both of Dark's hands in hers and kneeled before her, "I'm sorry, for everything. For lying to you, for betraying you, for hurting you in more ways than I thought I could, for what I've put you through for my own gain. And, most of all, I'm sorry that I'll never be able to make it up to you. I'm no fool, I will never be able to heal any wound you bear, because I'm the one you gave you them. But I'm going to help you because that's all I can do."
Dark stared back at her, nothing changed on her face, and Sheer felt tears rush down her face, "How could I do this to you?" Was all she said before leaving.
Days had passed and Dark walked to the training area with Sheer, there was silence like usual. Dark never spoke anymore and she never did anything that she wasn't told to do. Her skills using the black cosmo stone had improved greatly and it was no surprise that had she remained with the Space Pirates, she would've been the perfect soldier. Sheer opened the door to the training area and she let Dark spare with a punching bag for about 30 minutes before the wall furthest away from Sheer and Dark was blasted apart. In the hole of the wall stood HC, Sugar, Max, Rex, and Zoe.
"Everyone else is busy holding off the droids and other Space Pirates, come on Dark, let's go!" Zoe shouted, motioning her to come to them. Zoe stood next to Ace who was in combat mode and seemed to be the one who created the giant hole in the wall.
Dark didn't move, there was no telling what exactly was going through Dark's head, or if she could even comprehend what was happening. Sheer flew down to Dark, took her hand, and led her to the others.
"Get her out of here." Was the order that Sheer gave to them and the group eagerly left, helping Dark with them. They made their way through the halls and passed the rest of the gang who tagged along with them. After about 10 minutes, they made their own exit in the ship.
"Volcano Burst!" Ally called out, while swiping a move card on her dinotector. To Dark's surprise, the Space Pirate's ship had been parked on ground which was probably since they didn't have to go anywhere. They all ran to their vehicles and made their escape. HC, Sugar, Ally, and Ocean piled into a car with Dark. HC started driving, and for the first time in 5 months, Dark felt safe.
