"So folks, to recap everything that just happened," Tony stood in front of a camera that was strapped to a drone that hovered a few feet away from him. "Dark ran out of the tower and met with these guys, the D-Team. Who explained to us a lot about Dark. Dark is a human who's been possessed, so to speak, by an entity or stone called the Black Cosmo Stone. That thing's given her powers and also has some control over her body it seems. Anyway, right now we've got a hypothesis that's less of a hypothesis and more of a slightly questioning statement. Anyway, the statement is that the Black Cosmo Stone has taken full control of her and is now going to take over the world. Also, these people- aliens- called the Space pirates are also here, they're chilling on my couch. They say that they're gonna help but apparently they kidnapped Dark and tortured her so we're keeping them in the tower for now."
"Great exposition Stark, would you care to mention the giant humanoid figure that's made out of dark matter outside that's surrounding Dark?" Loki motioned to the window in the living room as the drone turned to capture a glimpse of the giant figure, zooming into the middle where Dark's seemingly lifeless body floated.
"So, does anyone have a plan?" Foolscap inquired from the couch.
"Well the last time we needed to defeat the cosmo stones- when you guys tried to take over the world, thanks for that by the way- we used elemental attacks aimed at you."
"I'll be the first to say that I dislike the plan of hitting hard, think later." Loki growled, he was particularly on edge since the previous event. "We can easily just talk her out of it."
Gabbro chuckled darkly, "There's no talking to her, look at her! She wouldn't hear a word that you'd say!"
Loki pointed a dagger at him before Steve stepped between them. "I have a plan, let's keep the cosmo stone at bay for now and see if there's a way to get to Dark. I agree with Loki, we don't want to potentially injure Dark, just draw away the stone's violence from civilians until we find a way to reach her."
With that they all formed a plan to annoy Dark into following them to a remote warehouse in NJ. It wouldn't be that far of a walk for her considering she was about ¾'s of the Avengers tower in terms of height. From the remote warehouse, they would trap her and from there it was improv.
Enacting their plan was simply because as it turns out the Black Cosmo Stone had a very deep resentment towards the Space pirates. The moment that they showed their faces it was chasing them like a Scooby Doo villain. Except unlike Scooby Doo villains, it was destroying a lot more than insurance companies' reputation. Either way the Avengers were happy that Foolscap, Gabbro, and Sheer all had wings so that they could get to the warehouse without a hitch.
Once they had lured Dark and the Black Cosmo Stone into the warehouse, they huddled in the corner trying to escape the stone's wrath.
"Where! Are! You! Three! Pay for your crimes! The crimes against this body! It took me months to get it back into working condition." The figure moves its arms in an angry gesture, peering for the Spectral Space Pirates.
"Alright, Rogers flip the switch!" Within a second of Tony's call, an electric force field surrounds the figure. The wires that channel the electricity are placed so that if the Cosmo stone were to move, Dark's body- the only thing keeping it walking- would be snared and electrocuted. A shock like that might not kill Dark but definitely hurt a lot.
