{set in a bar in New Zealand}"Come on, it'll be fun.... blondie."
Sam shook his head, carefully attempting to step around the man, but his big frame was blocking the exit. "I'll take good care of you."
Sam stepped back, glancing around the empty toilet, distress creeping into his eyes when he realised that there wasn't another way out.
"I- I don't want to, just l-let me out," Sam stuttered.
When Sam had left to go the toilet about 5 minutes ago, he certainly didn't expect this. He certainly didn't think he'd be cornered by a random man, who was saying such violating and disgusting things to the poor blonde that it made his skin crawl. And now he'd blocked the exit. Now he was trapped alone with this slightly older man, who was eyeing Sam up and down and licking his lips. "M-my friends, t-they'll be wondering w-where I am," Sam tried to reason, stepping closer to the door once again, but the man was quicker. His foot stuck out and held the door firmly shut, and Sams stomach plummeted.
"Give me what I want blondie, and you can go," the man continued.
"Y-you're d-disgusting," Sam retaliated, but he instantly regretted doing so when a firm hand latched on to his bony wrist. The man was walking out the toilet, dragging Sam with him. The blonde tried desperately to free his wrist, but the mans grip was tight, and every tug or quick attempt to free himself, caused a lightning bolt of pain to shoot up his arm. He looked around desperately for his friends, and to his relief he could see the 3 men sitting at the bar.
"COLBY!" Sam screamed, almost smiling when the brunette turned around and saw the blonde. To his relief, Colby nudged both Elton and Corey, and they all stood up and came jogging over. Suddenly, Sam was being tugged towards the man. The blonde didn't know if it was the angle at which his hand had to suddenly move, or the speed, but Sam heard a crack, coming from his arm, and then the sincere pain that swept through it like a tsunami. Sam yelped, hot tears welling up in his eyes.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!"
That was Colby. The blonde was sure of it.
"Let him go, what the hell dude?"
That was corey, the blonde could recognise his voice. He couldn't turn to see his friends, the man had him faced the other way, and Sam knew that one small movement would jostle his already throbbing wrist.
"Ok, I don't know what the fuck you think you're doing, but I suggest you let him go, and leave this bar."
That was defianltey Elton. The frostiness in his voice gave Sam chills, but the man seemed unfazed. He tugged Sam around to face the 3 men trying to rescue him, the sudden movement causing Sam to yell out in pain, the throbbing in his wrist increasing significantly. The blonde instantly met Colby's eyes, the brunette was angry, you could almost see the fire raging in his pupils. "You've hurt him!?" Colby spat out, fists clenching. The man said nothing. Colby stepped forward, the pure rage radiating of him. "Fucking give him over, I mean it, or we will call the police," Colby warned, staring straight into the mans eyes.
"Go on then, see if I care. I just wanted a bit of fun, no need for the 3 musketeers to get involved, was there?" The man retaliated.
"Let him go, we mean it," Elton spoke, his own fists clenching.
"I'll take good care of him, you guys won't even have to worry," the man continued. Sam squeezed his eyes shut, tears sliding down his cheeks.
"You're sick," Colby spat. Sam opened his eyes slowly, pleadingly looking up at his best friend. Elton got his phone out, getting ready to phone the emergency services.
"Last chance," the older warned, thumb hovering over the call button. To Sams relief, the man sighed, releasing the blonde and shoving him carelessly into Colby. Sam clung to his best friend, sobbing carelessly into his chest as relief flowed through his blood. "It's alright, I've got you," Colby whispered into Sams ear. Gentle hands wrapped around the blondes waist, running up and down his back.
"Probably a slut anyways," the man said carelessly.
Sam wasn't entirely sure what happened next, it was all a blur. Colby was suddenly gone, and Elton was pulling him away. He could remember the pained noises and Colby's angry shouts. He'd tried to look over, but elton turned him back around.
"Don't look," Elton advised.
"Stay here," the older added, and suddenly he was gone too. Sam turned around, and watched in horror as Elton and Corey tugged a raging brunette away from a body on the floor.
"That's enough Colby!" Elton tried, holding Colby's arms and dragging him away.
"It's not! He's fucking disgusting! Says all that stuff and expects me to do nothing about it. He can rot in hell!" Colby screamed. The whole bar was watching, wide eyed. The man was sat on the floor, hand held to his bleeding nose as he tried to stand up.
"Ok, we need to go," Corey decided. The pair dragged the raging Colby away from the scene, and towards the door, Sam following behind nervously. Once they were outside, Colby shrugged the two older males off him.
"He deserved it," Colby spat.
Nobody said anything, until Corey spoke up.
"Oh god, you're bleeding," Corey gasped. And he was right. Colby's knuckles were oozing bright red liquid, along with the bruise forming around his eye and a busted lip. Sam winced, averting his eyes to the ground in order to avoid looking at it any longer. It made him feel sick.
"We should go to a hospital," Corey suggested.
"No! I'm fine," Colby mumbled.
"Sam needs to, though."
Everyone turned to look at the blonde boy, who was holding his swollen arm to his chest in pain. Elton nodded.
"Both of you do, come on. Let's go to the RV, and we'll drive to the nearest one. No arguments," Elton decided. Nobody said anything, just continued walking, following Elton. Colby hung back a bit, falling into line with Sam, who turned to look up at him, wincing when he took in the bust lip.
"Looks worse than it is, I promise," Colby spoke. The brunette had calmed down significantly. Most of the anger had washed from his words, and now he was almost back to normal. Almost.
"I'm sorry you had to see that," Colby apologised, nudging Sams good arm with his shoulder. Sam shook his head, still trembling too badly to form a proper sentence. Colby understood.Once they reached the RV, Elton and Corey climbed into the front, and Sam and Colby got into the back. Elton started the engine, and started to drive. Meanwhile, Colby was pulling an ice pack out the freezer. He made his way back over to Sam, sitting down on the sofa next to him.
The brunette gently took the blondes swollen arm, his eyes darkening when he took in the black and purple bruise littering it. His thumbs gently hovered around the skin, pressing down softly on certain parts, until Sam winced.
"Sorry, sorry," Colby apologised, gently lowering the ice packs onto Sams wrist and holding it there. Instinctively, Sam leaned into Colby, head resting on the brunettes shoulder.
"Thank you," Sam muttered. Colby tilted his head down to look at him.
"For what?" he asked.
"For sticking up for me."
Colby smiled, gently putting an arm around Sam and resting his head on top of his.
"It's what best friends are for."Yayyyyy, a long one 😂
