{Set on the streets of LA}
{Sam's POV}
I can remember someone grabbing me, ruffling through my pockets, grabbing out my wallet, my phone. I remember the screams and protests from Corey, Elton and Colby, who were trying desperately to get this man of me, but with no success. And then came the pain. The sharp pain rocketing through my abdomen, and the sound of the bloody knife being dropped to the floor as my attacker made a run for it. I gasped, looking down to see blood seeping through my yellow jumper.
"SAM!"{Colby's POV}
I looked at Sam, my mouth hanging open, mind processing the situation. It was when I saw him swaying on his feet that I leapt into action. I grabbed him and slowly lowered him to the ground, with his upper half laying against my chest. "C-Colby" he stuttered. "It's alright, you're ok" I spoke soothingly. I could hear Elton on the phone, presumably calling an ambulance. Corey was knelt down next to us, shock plastered all over his face. "Sam, Sam talk to me," I said, shaking my best friend . All I got in return was shaky sobs coming from the bleeding boy in my arms. I suddenly realised how much blood he was loosing, so I tore of my shirt and pressed it firmly on the wound. Sam winced and went to push my hands away. "I have to Sammy," I explained. "It hurts Colby" Sam sobbed, gripping my wrist and squeezing it quickly when I held the t - shirt even harder to his wound. "I know it does, just stay with me, alright?" I said gently, kissing his blonde mop of hair. "Colby....." he trailed of. "What is it Sammy?" I asked, muffled as I was speaking into his hair. "I don't want to die" he cried, bursting into fresh tears. "Sam, Sam your not gonna die" Corey said, speaking up for the first time. "Colby don't let me die," Sam sobbed. I held him to me tighter, shushing him as he cried. It was when he slowly started to shut his eyes I started to worry I might actually loose him. "No! Sam you have to stay awake," I said, shaking him as his blue orbs fluttered back open. "I can't," he whined, leaning his head on my chest. "Yes, yes you can. You're so strong Sammy. You're doing amazing right now, but you have to stay with me until the paramedics come," I told him. He rested his cold hand on top of mine. "I need to tell you something," he said, sounding breathless and wincing at the end of his sentence when I pressed on his wound harder. "What's that?" I asked, trying my best to stop myself crying, hearing the sound of sirens in the distant. "I love you" he whispered. "And I love you too"
I said back. "No Colby. I really love you. As in...." "more than a friend?" I butted in. He smiled up at me, with all the strength he had left. I leant down and stopped just before his lips hit mine, so he could back away if he wanted to. He didn't, so I took my chance. I pressed my lips to his gently, forgetting about Corey, forgetting about Elton. It was just him and I. I pulled away and looked at him. I could hear the ambulance pulling up on the side of the road beside us. "You're gonna be ok Sammy," I muttered to the drained boy in my arms.
"We're gonna be ok"I'm currently in a very quiet staff room because I'm doing my year 10 work experience, it's SILENT and I really need to cough but it's gonna make such a loud noise ok anyway bye
