"I love you Y/n. I'll see you later. Goodbye."

"No!" You feel yourself become lighter and lighter and the vision of B/f begins to disappear. Just as you leave, you hear a final thud.

The last shield is gone.

In a single moment, you find yourself in front of the Kujo Household just like the crystal ball had shown moments earlier. You let out a shaky breath and stare down at your open arms, B/f's warm presence completely absent. You close your arms to your body, hugging yourself, seeking comfort from this hellish nightmare. You let out a few soft cries before wailing in pain.

"NOOOOOOOO!"

Your loud and desperate sobs could probably be heard all the way back in Egypt. You slowly feel yourself lower to the ground and your tears stain the concrete as your forehead meets the pavement. Your violent sobs soon turn into quiet heaves and you have to consciously remind yourself to breathe before you pass out.

'Damn you, B/f! That wasn't the time to play the selfless hero! Why did you do this? Why did you sacrifice yourself for my sake?! What am I supposed to do now? Her last words to me sounded like a final goodbye... DIO won't... kill her... right? Her stand is extremely useful, and he even took the time to explain and train her with her stand, but is that enough to keep her alive? DIO is an absolute maniac. There really is no telling what he'll do.'

After a few minutes, you manage to calm yourself down and think straight. You look around the immediate area and luckily don't see anyone. You quickly get up and move away from the Kujo household.

'It'd be bad if anyone saw me just now since I literally appeared out of thin air. I can't interact with the crusaders too early either... if I approach them with no clear plan in mind, then there'll be little to no chance of convincing them into allowing me to come along on the journey to Egypt.'

You run to a street corner many houses away and take note of the street name of the Kujo household for future reference. You pause and wipe the tears from your face and try to get your thoughts straight.

'Okay... calm down... and think... What would B/f do?'

You let out a long sigh and pull yourself together. First things first, you needed a place to stay. And to do that you needed money. You take off the backpack B/f had given you, and you look inside in search for the wallet the Wish Lady had gifted you and B/f. Upon searching for the wallet, you see the note B/f was talking about prior to sending you away. You hold it in your hand and bite your lip to keep from crying again. You take a deep breath and gently place it back inside the backpack. You'd read it later when you weren't in a public setting. You feel tears threatening to come out and you start walking to distract yourself. Now was not the time for that. You needed a plan to save B/f from DIO, and you needed one fast.

You grab the wallet and now we're on the next task of searching for an ATM. You find a small convenience store and see it had a glowing ATM sign plastered on the window. You walk inside and find the small machine tucked away in the corner of the store. You put your card in the slot. The screen pops up and asks for a pin code.

'Shit.'

If you recalled correctly, your note never said anything about a pin code. 'Maybe the Wish Lady who gave us this stuff knew B/f and I well... perhaps it's something simple?' You input the year you were born, and it works. You sigh a breathe of relief and continue the task at hand.
