"I'll stay in here with you if you're okay with that."

"There's no way you're leaving now," I say playing with the ring on his finger. We're official. He's mine. I'm his.

"Go to sleep. I'll wake you up in the morning," he says closing his eyes and burying his face in the crook of my neck.

"Kakyoin..."

"Hm?"

"You're my favorite."

I wake up feeling refreshed. I haven't slept that well in forever. I go to get up but I realize there's an arm over me. I touch it and look down, at the hand. An emerald ring. 'So it wasn't a dream. It's real.' I flush, this time not from embarrassment, but from happiness. I kiss Kakyoin's hand and slowly get up and make my way over to the bathroom. I splash water on my face and dry myself. I look up into the mirror and see the necklace Kakyoin gave me last night. I play with it and I feel a smile play on my lips as I recall the words he said to me when he confessed. 'I feel the same.' I finish getting ready for the day and I walk out of the bathroom to see Kakyoin still fast asleep. I look at the clock. There was still time. I climb back into the bed and I'm immediately pulled into a hug.

"I thought I told you I'd wake you up," Kakyoin says sleepily with his eyes closed.

"I can't exactly stop myself from waking up," I say sarcastically. He chuckles and pulls me closer to him and lets out a satisfied hum. He slowly opens his eyes and I'm met with his stunning violet hues.

"Good morning," he says staring down into my eyes.

"Good morning," I return, and I touch his face with my hand. I run my thumb over his lips. 'They're soft.' He bits the pad of my finger. "Ow," I yelp while pulling it away. He chuckles again and sits up in bed.

"It's almost time for us to leave. I should get ready," he says and he stands up. I stay in bed, not really having to do anything since I was already ready to go. Kakyoin goes to the bathroom and Melly subconsciously comes out. I turn and look at his face. Melly raises his eyebrows up and down at me suggestively.

"Shut up," I say looking away and crossing my arms. 'He can't even talk you, you big idiot. But It looks like we were right. I liked Kakyoin a lot after all.' This time I actually flush from embarrassment. I shake the thoughts from my head and go to the window and look outside. The sun was rising. Melly floats beside me, but he soon disappears. I remain at the window, entranced by the sight before me.

"What are we looking at," Kakyoin says from behind me and he wraps his arms around my waist.

"The sunrise," I answer simply, still looking out of the window. Kakyoin turns me around and holds my chin in his hand so I'm looking up at him.

"Truly beautiful," he whispers and he kisses me. I return the gentle kiss and we pull away after a while. "You look lovely in your necklace."

"Stop it," I say squirming away from him in embarrassment.

"Make me," he says defiantly. I kiss him again, effectively keeping him quiet. We separate ourselves and we leave the room to meet up with the others.

We all greet each other with good mornings and make our way over to the train station. On our way there, we stop to get breakfast on the go. Kakyoin goes with Polnareff to get it.
