39: Confessions & Sunsets

"Hmph. Looks like you're good for something after all," Polnareff says mockingly as he points to Iggy.

"Shut up you stupid French hooligan!" Iggy says going to nip Polnareff's finger.

"Ow! Why you little-"

"Stop it," Kakyoin says to both of them in a warning tone. The two of them huff and look away from each other. "I'm glad you're okay. Let's do something about him before we go," Kakyoin says pointing to Hol Horse.

The boys pick up Hol Horse from the floor and drag him away from the public view. You don't ask what the boys did to him, but they tell you they did enough damage to Hol Horse to where he wouldn't be able to continue on following you guys for the remainder of the trip.

After Polnareff and Kakyoin took care of Hol Horse, all of you decide to just meet up with the rest of your group. You all didn't feel like exploring after all that. The entire time you walked back, you were lost in your thoughts.

'DIO really dragged the carpet out from underneath our feet. I shouldn't have just assumed things would play out like the show again. The Wish Lady warned me about this, and I have a feeling that this wasn't the only situation it applied to. I'm sure DIO has much more planned for us... And those visions I've been seeing. They're the future. I've experienced this multiple times now, so I'm positive they are... How the hell I managed to obtain such a useful power is beyond me. I should tell the group... but how the hell do I do that? Is there an update on my shield?'

Your train of thought is interrupted when you all arrived at the car dealership Joseph, Avdol, and Jotaro were at. They were all standing around a brand new car and Joseph shook a man's hand, presumably the salesman. Looks like they were just about done with things too.

You suddenly feel a pit in your stomach. You were gonna have to explain what happened, to everyone who wasn't there when Hol Horse came out to play. You knew everyone would be worried, but you were feeling off about having to tell Jotaro. You were anxious to have to explain to him how you were almost taken. You knew he wasn't going to be happy. It may have been the aura you guys gave off or the expressions on your face but the others knew something was up once they saw you all approaching where they were.

"Hey, guys! We're just finished things up here aanndd- what the heck is wrong with you guys?" Joseph says. He started off talking enthusiastically until he really got a good look at you guys.

"Umm," you begin to say. 'Damn this is too much...' "One of you guys tell them," you say chickening out.

"Wh-What?! Why do we gotta say it?" Polnareff says concerned. It seems he didn't want to explain the shitty situation either.

"I don't wanna say it!" You yell back worriedly.

"Where do we even start?" Kakyoin says matching the mood. The three of you start mumbling to each other about where to start and who was gonna say what part. This wasn't meant to be a presentation but that's what it was turning into. Joseph, Avdol, and Jotaro stood in front of you guys, confused, and waiting to learn what the hell was going on.

"Ugh, you guys are hopeless!" Iggy barks at the three of you. You all stop and look down at Iggy, wondering what he was going to do. He stands in front of Joseph, Avdol, and Jotaro and looks up at them from the ground. "One of your past enemies came back and tried to take Y/n," Iggy blurts out.

"IGGY!" You, Polnareff, and Kakyoin yell at the same time. This was definitely gonna cause some chaos. The three of them turn to you Kakyoin and Polnareff with shocked faces.

"What?! Who?!" Joseph says automatically.

"Where are they?" Avdol asks. Kakyoin and Polnareff begin to explain and you stayed quiet not really wanting to talk. You take a glance at Jotaro, and you get goosebumps everywhere when you see he was staring at you. He had a glare on his face.
