The Stars Don't Hold Our Fate (Jotaro x Reader x Kakyoin)

13: The Journey begins

You bring out your stand and call out the Leaf shield. Kakyoin watches and makes some small talk.

"So... you said your stand is video game-like?"

"Yeah. I'm kind of a nerd, so I guess my stand took some inspiration from that." You were reaching for your medicine from your bag and fixing yourself some tea just like you did for Kakyoin a while earlier. Your screen shows up again.

"That's so cool! I can relate to being a nerd, I love playing video games and reading manga." He sounded so excited while he was talking to you, you can't help but smile. "So this screen is like your main menu with information?" He leans in a little closer to you, looking at your screen.

You blush but chose not to say anything about it. "Uh, yeah kind of. I can see my stats on here, and for some reason, I was also able to see yours. I wasn't able to see others when I was testing my power." You make the tea and see that it has a +45. You drink it and your wounds are soon healed.

'So I can drink boiled water and not get sick. Great. I can always drink water bottles as a backup too. I heard those were safer.'

Kakyoin picks up another moist towel from the tray and starts to clean the blood off of you. "Maybe I'm just so special that you are also able to see my stats," he jokes. You look at his face and see that he's concentrating. He notices you staring and smiles. You turn your head away and you feel embarrassed.

"Hey, look at me. I need to get the side of your face, you have some dried blood there."

You look back at him avoiding his gaze and he begins to clean the blood. He slows down after a while and you look at him, and he stares into your eyes. You're both caught in the moment and just continue to stare at each other looking for an answer of some sort. The door suddenly slides open and you instantly spread apart, and you both take a sudden interest in the decor around you.

"Am I interrupting something?" Jotaro says as he steps inside the room. 

"No, not at all. Kakyoin just finished helping clean my old wounds blood. What's up?" You try to sound cool and actually manage to pull it off.

"My mom was wondering what was taking so long. Let's go. You don't know where the dining room is." Jotaro leaves the door open and begins to walk away. You feel embarrassed that he saw you and Kakyoin. You weren't doing anything wrong, but you felt as if you were caught doing something you shouldn't.

"I can practically taste the cold dinner from here. Can you smell the richness of the awkwardness?" Kakyoin whispers in your ear. You giggle, and he stands up, offering you a hand up."Shall we?" You accept his hand and you both make your way out of the tea room.

After dinner, Holly shows you where you'll be staying for the night. After settling down a bit, you head to the bathroom and take a shower. As the warm water hits your body you start to think of everything that's happened in the short amount of time you've been here. You manage not to cry as you think about your best friend.

'While he was flesh budded, Kakyoin mentioned that DIO managed to get information from B/f... I hope he didn't use brute force. What on earth did he find out? Could that be why he wants me back at his mansion? Or is it pride because I was able to escape? What would he do if he does get me back? Torture me? Kill me? Or use me for his gain?'

You're soon pulled away from your thoughts as you hear a knock at the door. "Y-Yes?!" You call out awkwardly.

"Y/n? It's me, Holly! I've brought you a fresh towel and a change of clothes. I'll put them on the counter for you, okay?"
